An open invite to all on the approach to the 26/27 season 🚨💪🏼⚽️

Whether you’re looking for a new club, a club to start your open age playing days or a club to simply have a kick about with and enjoy a social, we have it at Netherton FC. 👊🏼

With 3 teams spread across the HDAFL from the premier division down to the 4th division, ALL abilities are welcomed and catered to.

All teams are made up of a good group of lads and we also offer a very good social calendar, hosting monthly (at minimum) full club social nights planned by our committee.🍻

Our pre-season training is set to start on 1st July. At present we are in the process of organising new training arrangements for the up coming season, so please keep an eye out on our socials where we will announce all the details soon 🙌🏼

25/26 SEASON OVER ⚽️

The 3s unfortunately came away from their final game of the season on Thursday night with no points to show. Overall not a bad performance, some work on consistency required as we look to next season 👊🏼

This draws a close to the season for all 3 teams and though it’s not been our strongest year in terms of placement, there are lots of strengths to carry on and positives to build on 💪🏼

It was a very successful trip over to Newsome yesterday for the first team as they closed out their season by handing out a 9-1 thrashing. All the lads looked in great form and all looks positive moving into the next season 💪🏼

A decent overall performance, but paid the price for inconsistency ⚽️

The 3s were unfortunately bested yesterday in their away visit to Scissett. The lads put on a good display but the occasional slip in quality saw them give away 2 avoidable goals.

Huge 3 points 🙌🏼

In a game that saw high winds for the full 90, our subs bench being literally spat on and a stone wall double yellow for the home side, the 1s remained composed and managed to get a convincing win away at Kirkheaton yesterday. A perfect example of keeping focussed and getting the job done. 💪🏼

🚨 UPDATE 🚨

After a lot of interest and talks, we at Netherton have appointed a new manager for the 26/27 season 🙌🏼 (More info to come later)

This leaves just one vacancy open at the club, that being the role of 3rd team manager.

We want to say a huge thank you to all those who got in touch over the role of 1st team manager, we appreciate you all and we encourage anyone else looking to get involved with a brilliant football club, to get in touch! ⚽️
