Very sad news about the loss of one of our ECO leaders.

It is with heavy hearts that we share news of the loss of one of our own.

Our volunteer and friend Alex Dale sadly passed away at the end of last week, following a short period of illness.

In the last year Alex had volunteered nearly 200 hrs to support missing people in Suffolk, including 19 live incidents. Alex had an unwavering calmness about him, with the ability to instantly adapt to the different situations he found himself in. A true gentleman with the biggest laugh. We will miss him greatly.

Our thoughts are firmly with his family and close friends at this sad time.

Stand down Alex, we’ll take it from here.

We have just been informed that we passed our LOtC re-inspection.
Thanks to all staff who were present during the inspection for your support. This means we remain on the EVOLVE, eVisit and Kaddi systems, significantly reducing the trips and visits administration for client schools.

The report states: East Coast Outdoors CIC delivers Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions at all levels. Management is hands-on, with a comprehensive understanding of the staff, clients and operating environment.

The provider shows a high level of diligence in catering to individual participant needs, ensuring appropriate support is in place for a wide range of medical, physical and emotional requirements.

Awesome end to a very busy year, our staff were full of praise for the County High School teams, 5th year working with this school, really pleased to see them back again. And now …. A well earned rest!
