Your presence, your words, your energy all have an impact on me and I am so grateful for the positivity and kindness that you bring.

I attended Claydon Primary School (many years ago) and now, having my studio so close, it gives me great pleasure to support the school when I can.

9-2-5 or 25th September to Americans is now officially Dolly Day, in honour of the icon and legend that is Dolly Parton.

I grew up on her music and absolutely loved her. Her sharp business brain, charitable work, no nonsense attitude, the way she lit up a room and her ability to make every single person feel special. She really was one of a kind.

She had so many great quotes, but one of my favourites was about if you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours. So today, ladies and gents, please spread the smiles far and wide. Here's to you, Dolly. Loved and missed

I spent the afternoon working on my Knee Stretch Series.
🦵
As much as I love my Align contemporary reformers, I sometimes prefer the simplicity of the classical reformer. The Align has so many adjustment options, which is great to fit different bodies, but can also over complicate things. I got soooo in my own head about positioning. 🤦‍♀️
😫
Here was my final attempt of the day. And I left the sound on so you can hear my self talk and muttering 😬

No the camera isn't in the right place, but I'm posting it anyway!
In Elephant, Ive moved my heels away from the shoulder posts because of my ankle range.
Getting up into Knee Stretch Off has always been a challenge but we are making progress.
Thats why they call it a practice. And practice makes progress

Full Beginner Mat
Although this is clearly sped up, you can see where I rushed the middle section. But there are so many improvements so I am pleased with the progress.
We keep on going.
