What a morning for a game of football! ☔️☔️☔️

The boys made the trip to Ayr this morning to face a tough Valspar side, and despite some absolutely horrendous weather conditions, they put in a fantastic performance! 👏

Every single one of the boys worked their socks off, showed great teamwork and battled through the conditions to produce a performance the coaches can be really proud of. 🧡🖤

A difficult day for the boys yesterday, with four players missing, including both our goalkeepers 🤦‍♂️.

Plenty for us to take into this week’s training sessions as we prepare for our away trip to Valspar next week. We’ll regroup, put the work in and look to bounce back 💪

Layton Cotterill — had to step up and take one for the team by filling in between the sticks, so this was a no-brainer for the coaches! 🧡👏 sponsored by Brodie Leask Plumbing & Heating Services

Yesterday the boys came up against a strong Bossa side. 🧡🖤

We started brilliantly and more than held our own in the first half. Unfortunately, the weather and the game changed after the break, and Bossa took a couple of their chances.

A very good test for the boys and plenty of positives to take away, along with things for us to work on in training this week. We keep learning, improving and moving forward together! 💪

Bit of a strange one for us this morning, starting well but fell right out it and the levels dropped dramatically for a large period of the 1st half.

Half time gave us a chance to regroup and a wee change to tactics saw us come out in the 2nd half to a much better performance and more the standard we’ve came to expect.

All in all, a positive weekend and put in a good performance ⚽️

Definitely one of those days for the boys today.

We started brilliantly and were the better team for the opening 15–20 minutes, playing some really good football.

Once Medda went more direct, we struggled to deal with it and stopped winning our individual battles. Credit to them, they adapted well and deserved the result.

Plenty for us to learn from and take into training. We’ll dust ourselves down and go again. 💪

On a very windy Saturday morning, the boys came out flying!! Right from the very 1st minute they delivered and continued to do so for every minute after.

We asked the boys to step up and put in the performance we’ve been waiting for and today was the most complete performance we’ve seen at 9’s.

Last week we struggled in the final third, but after a bit of hard work and focused training paid off big time. A very positive weekend and showed what we all knew they team could deliver ⚽️
