Sunday 27th September - 9s & 7s

💙❤️Dean Thistle U12 Red (9s) v TASS💙❤️

Hard fought competitive match in bad weather conditions this morning. Girls started off well going up a couple of goals but then we took our foot off a little made things hard for ourselves and credit to Tass they got themselves back into it

2nd half the conditions worsened but the girls hung in there in the 2nd half and got themselves a couple of late goals to see us out

Well done to all the girls, that game was about digging deep and they came through 👏🏼

Have to give credit to the Tass GK who was in phenomenal form especially with that weather some absolutely brilliant saves to keep her side in it when we were on top 👏

Well done Chelsey on your outing with the 9s and bagging a goal⚽

💙❤️ Ayr United v Dean Thistle U12 Blue (7s) 💙❤️

What a performance from the girls today! 🔥 Absolutely outstanding and the coaches are proud of every one of them!

We flew out the traps in our 9:30am KO down at the fantastic new Somerset Astro in Ayr, with Ellis skipping past a couple before firing low into the corner.

Rebecca and Daisy then scored in quick succession.

Then came the goal of the game 👏
Ellis danced past three players before cutting it back perfectly for Rebecca, who opened up her right foot and calmly slotted it into the bottom corner.

Ayr came flying back at us after the break and pulled a couple of goals back. We weren’t quite as switched on as we’d been in the first half, but the girls showed great character, kept battling and kept creating chances.

With a few minutes left, Skye whipped in a brilliant cross and Erin was there to finish from close range and put the game to bed! ⚽️🙌

⭐JOINT PLAYERS OF THE MATCH — ELLIS & REBECCA⭐

Some fantastic football, brilliant individual moments and, most importantly, a HUGE team effort from EVERY single girl today.

WHAT A PERFORMANCE! 🥅⚽💪🏼

💙❤️U10 (7s) v Kilwinning Rangers💙❤️

Our U10s definitely got the worst of the weather today with their 11am KO at Dean Park! 🌧️💨....
But it didn't stop them from putting in an AMAZING performance! 👏

Well done to you ALL today — you were absolutely fantastic! ⭐️

What a team of wee superstars! 🌟🌟🌟

So proud of every single one of you! 💙❤️

We’re looking for young people aged 11 to 25 to design the official badge for this year’s Reclaim the Night march in Kilmarnock.

Using the theme ‘All Together to End Violence Against Women and Girls’, we’re looking for a design that reflects the movement here in Scotland and around the world, and represents unity, strength and hope. 💜

The winning design will be made into badges for the march on 26 November, and the winner will also receive a £50 East Ayrshire gift card.

Entries close 9 October.

What an absolutely fabulous game from the girls today!

We were up against a tough opponent and had no subs, but our girls were up for a challenge.

From Mirryn and Beth at the back, to all our girls on the attack, they all played out their skins.

A masterclass of goals from Ruby-Mae and Eilidh, with equal as amazing work up play from every single player⭐️⚽️

Again the girls are hiding their goalie skills with Ruby-Mae, Eilidh and Pyper all doing amazing in nets🧤

The girls should be so chuffed with themselves today, a great game especially for Mirryn’s birthday!!🎉

What a close tight hard fought game today. Took us a little while to get going, must have been the long drive 😆

Defence were solid today giving our keeper very little to do. Great team performance 💙❤️⚽

POTM ⭐ Allie ⭐
Allie went into defence and did everything asked of her, won her tackles and ran her heart out well done Allie 👏🏼

An uncharacteristic performance from the Blues this morning.

1st half we really weren’t at the races at all but we still had a couple of decent chances that we just couldn’t take.

2nd half we had some flashes of what the girls usually do but just not enough, these girls have been on a great run of late so should definitely be proud of themselves, we will chalk this one off as a bad day at the office

Special shout-out to Ellis making her DT debut who showed that she will fit in brilliantly, great energy and an assist 👏🏼

No doubt on the POTM this week, superb performance from Jess🥅🧤
