🔥 FULL-TIME: A MASSIVE PERFORMANCE FROM THE LADS! 🔥

What can we say about today’s game?! 🤩

From the moment the whistle blew, Geo came flying out of the blocks, putting the home side under immediate pressure. And it didn’t take long for that pressure to pay off! 💥 A fantastic pass from Abimbola found his strike partner Jay Dunlin, who calmly lobbed the keeper to put us 1-0 up in the VERY FIRST MINUTE! What a start! ⚽️🔥

We continued to press and cause problems, and in the 19th minute, Abimbola was at it again! Driving through on goal, he was brought down in the box to win us a penalty. Up stepped Dunlin, who made no mistake, smashing it into the top corner! 🎯 Never in doubt! 2-0!

The chances just kept coming, and in the 42nd minute, Abimbola turned provider once again, setting up our very own “Mouth o’ Mighty” Cam Jenkins, who unleashed a BEAUTIFUL finish straight into the top corner! 🚀👏 A brilliant goal to send us into half-time with a commanding 3-0 lead!

The second half saw a number of changes, and we came out a little sloppy, allowing Barham to find the back of the net. The game became much more balanced after the break, so credit to Barham for never giving up and continuing to battle! 💪

But in the 71st minute, we delivered the killer blow! A perfectly weighted through ball from Emanual sent Nathan Moody racing through on goal, and he kept his composure to slot it home beautifully! ⚽️🙌 Game. Set. Match.

👏 A couple of massive shout-outs!

💪 Moody deserves huge credit for stepping in at right-back in the first half and handling the job brilliantly before getting his reward with a goal!

😂 And, of course, Liam Jones, coming out of retirement for about the SEVENTH time! 🤣 Another massive shift put in, as always. Absolute warrior!

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH: CAM JENKINS!

Cool, calm and composed in the middle of the park, controlling the game and putting in a fantastic performance. Fully deserved! 👏🔥

Honestly, MOTM could have gone to any one of the lads today. Every single player gave 100%, battled for one another and wore that shirt with pride. That’s what it’s all about! ❤️💙

A brilliant team performance, four goals, and another reminder of what this group is all about!

UP THE GEO! 🔥💪

⚽ GEO/LISA’S LADS 3–4 HUMBER WANDERERS

Geo/Lisa’s Lads got off to a flying start as Alex Carter found the top corner with a brilliant finish just two minutes into the game to put us 1–0 up.

Humber Wanderers responded quickly, finding an equaliser in the 6th minute to make it 1–1.

Geo/Lisa’s Lads then piled on the pressure, creating two or three great chances that narrowly missed the target. There was also a strong penalty appeal that went unanswered as we continued to push for a second.

Despite our pressure, Wanderers hit us on the counter in the 34th minute, taking the lead and making it 2–1.

Then, right on the stroke of half-time, Wanderers caught us on the counter once again to make it 3–1 at the break.

The lads came out fighting in the second half and were rewarded for their efforts when Jordan smith stepped up and fired a fantastic free-kick into the back of the net to bring us back into the game.

Just seven minutes later, Smith was involved again, this time producing a brilliant through ball for Nathan Moody, who calmly slotted the ball into the corner to make it 3–3! 🔥

In the 64th minute, Wanderers were awarded a dubious penalty against our keeper Cameron Carter , who had already made a magnificent claim to the ball in the build-up.

Unfortunately, we couldn't find the equaliser, but there was plenty to be proud of from the lads today. We created a number of good chances and, on another day, could have taken all three points.

👏 Brilliant effort from everyone today — the fight, character and determination to come back from 3–1 down was there for all to see.

⭐ MOTM: Jack fenton

A massive shout-out to Jack, who worked tirelessly from start to finish and put in a tremendous shift for the team. Fully deserved! 👏⚽

🔥⚽️ BACK TO WINNING WAYS — AND WHAT A WAY TO DO IT! ⚽️🔥

What a game. What a performance. What a group of lads! 🩷

From the very first whistle, the boys came out with real intent. We nearly opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, only for the opposition keeper to pull off an unbelievable save.

From there, we dominated the first half, creating chance after chance. Nathan Moody came so close with a stunning free kick that crashed off the bar. We were knocking on the door constantly, but somehow we went into half-time 1-0 down after a goal that came completely against the run of play.

But this group doesn't know how to give up. 💪

The second half saw the boys dig deeper, fight harder and show exactly what they're made of. We got ourselves level with a brilliant strike from none other than our number 10 Nathan Moody! 🎯🔥

Then, with the game heading towards the final stages, KCOM piled on the pressure. We had two unbelievable clearances off the line, throwing bodies on the line for the team, but eventually they found the net again in the 80th minute.

For most teams, that might have been the moment they folded.

Not these lads.

They dug even deeper, found another gear and went straight back at them. And in the 88th minute, our number 10 was there once again to smash home the equaliser! 🔥

The celebrations said it all. The fight. The togetherness. The belief. ❤️

Then came the penalties…

And what can we say about Cameron Carter?! 🧤🔥

THREE. MASSIVE. SAVES.

Ice in the veins when it mattered most, helping us secure a 3-2 penalty shootout victory! 🏆👏

A thoroughly deserved Man of the Match award for Cam Carter, but today the award could of gone to the whole squad.

Every tackle. Every run. Every block. Every clearance. Every bit of effort.

TOGETHER. 🤝
RESILIENT. 💪
UNBREAKABLE. 🔥

Massive credit to every single one of the lads. To come from behind twice, keep believing and fight until the very end shows the character running through this team.

Today wasn't just a win.

It was a statement of togetherness, belief and never giving up.

What a way to bounce back. ❤️‍🔥

PROUD OF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU.
