What a game!
The Lions went into what we thought was going to be a tough match with both teams having the same record before the match with 2 wins 1 loss, Key figures in the team missing due to work and suspensions we readied ourselves up for a battle. 3 Goal keepers, 1 guy with a possible ACL injury in the team injured Centre back and a midfielder covering for another centre back, sounds like a recipe for disaster but my god this team can put a smile on your face on their good day!
8 goals and another 3 points on the road.
That’s 3 W’s in a row to go into next week’s very difficult game.

We finish the week off being second in the league with 4 games played.

A solid 90 minute performance from The Lions today with plenty of questionable calls from the officials, by standers invading the pitch and trying to scrap with our players, couldn’t be more proud of The Lions today for making a hard day end in their favour with a 2:1 victory.

After a solid 25 minutes period from The Lions we went up 1-0 to which we then had a lapse in concentration which led to repeat mistakes & ball watching from us saw The Lions be punished with 3 quick goals. We then spent the next 45 minutes trying to get back into the game and just couldn’t breakdown Eastfield in the end with us only managing to get one goal back. Not the best day at the office, we go again next week 🦁

Season Begins! 📊

The Lions take on AFC Eastfield this Saturday 5th of September for our first league game of the season, we go into Saturday’s game carrying over two red cards from last season to make things hard for ourselves as per usual 😅

Last season we had the pleasure of hosting Eastfield in the second round of the cup which saw The Lions defeated 2-0, we hope to better that result this time around in the league.
