We are so proud that we have so many amazing women to celebrate at Gymophobics!💕

Meet Janet from Gymophobics Aldridge!✨

Since joining in July 2024, Janet has lost an amazing total of 14.7kg and an incredible 32 inches! However, it is not just about the physical changes, from digital classes and bootcamps, to getting involved in social events and supporting her fellow members, Janet has embraced every part of Gymophobics 🌸

Janet loves Gymophobics so much that she has now joined the Aldridge Instructor Team as an Assistant! 🎉

Thank you, Janet, for all your hard work, positivity and for being such a wonderful part of Gymophobics community!💕

Low Carb Crustless Quiche👩🏼‍🍳

Getting satisfying food in during the heat is always hard, but this low carb crustless quiche is great alongside any summer dinner or on its own☀️

With only 9.5g of carbs per serving💕

Ingredients👇:
🥚500g of leeks
🥚2 large cloves of garlic
🥚2 tbsp of olive oil
🥚1 tsp of coriander
🥚1 tsp of parsley
🥚Salt and freshly ground pepper
🥚90g of bacon (approximately 3 slices)
🥚200g of grated cheddar cheese
🥚8 medium sized eggs

Recipe👇:

Preheat your oven to 180°C.

Slice your leeks and mix with crushed garlic, olive oil, coriander, parsley, salt and pepper.

Place into a deep ovenproof dish, top with the bacon and roast for 25 minutes, until the bacon is cooked and the leeks have softened.

Remove from the oven, chop the bacon into small pieces and leave to cool for around 20 minutes.

Grate the cheddar and mix with the eggs. Add the cooled leek and bacon mixture and combine.

Pour into a lined 8–9 inch dish and bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden and set in the middle.

This makes around 9–12 slices☺️

Save this recipe for later💕

Walking into a gym on your own can feel daunting. We get it 🩷

The lovely thing is that most of our members join Gymophobics on their own, but many leave with friendships they never expected to make.

One of our members summed it up perfectly:
"I feel so much better in myself and I really enjoy it. As an added bonus, I've gained a social life too and formed fantastic friendships."

Sometimes the biggest change isn't just how you feel physically. It's finding people who cheer you on, make you laugh and keep you coming back. 💪

“I don’t want to lift weights because I don’t want to get bulky…”

This is one of the biggest myths we hear from women, but strength training is actually one of the best things you can do for your body as you get older 🩷

It helps support:
✨ Fat loss
✨ Muscle strength
✨ Bone health
✨ Balance and confidence

And did you know women are recommended to complete 60-150 minutes of strength training every week?
That’s just 2-5 Gymophobics sessions! 🙌

Strength training helps your body in more ways than you might think. It supports your metabolism, helps maintain bone density, improves strength for everyday life and can help you feel more confident in what your body can do.

The goal isn’t choosing between cardio and strength training. It’s about finding a balance.

❤️ Cardio helps support your heart, lungs and fitness
💪 Strength training helps support your muscles, bones and independence

Together, they help you build a stronger, healthier body for life.

And remember… lifting weights won’t make you bulky. It helps you become stronger, fitter and more confident 🩷
