Humber Cyclones Netball

Humber Cyclones went on tour to Butlins Skegness for the at the weekend. Losing a player on Saturday to illness and facing some tough teams Cyclones went out and played their best unfortunately just wasn't our day. Sunday we came back a totally different team with our poorly player back in action. The girls went out and played their hearts out winning 3 out off 4 games. Losing one by only two goals. Humber Cyclones ended second in their Pool group. Well done girls...not only was netball played....memories was made 💙🩵

So so unlucky to lose the game. Genuinely believe we were the better team today, but unfortunately third quarter let us down.. We just cannot afford to hold back against any team. Taking our foot off the gas for a 12 minute quarter lost us the game.
We win as a team, we lose as a team. There was some good play today, we had a load of turnovers and some great interceptions. We did miss Lily, the one that never tires, but well done to Rosie and Eliza for taking the C bib, the worst of the positions 🤣🤣

Well done to POM Mia who did some great defending today, hard to get the rebounds when the Hull KRs shooting was almost faultless!
Another well done to OPOM Stevie, fanstatic shooting and great movement all over the court.

Today was the best the girls have ever played as a team against a strong Chevrons team.
Some excellent interceptions throughout, if we slowed it down a bit instead of panicking and losing the ball, there were plenty of opportunities to turn the game, girls need to remember, we have 3 seconds, the balls not a hot potato 🤣🔥🥔
Stevie was on top form today, working so hard in D, fantastic shooting and supporting the centre third when needed.
Well done though girls, really promising start to the season and onwards and upwards

New team...new division. Girls moved up into Division one for the winter league 25/26. Score today doesn't reflect how well the girls played today against a very strong dominant team. Heads up, work hard at training and onto the next game.

Well done to Alice for team player and coaches player in the Stuart Hilton tournament and also to Lily B for also recieving coaches player.

Alice's first tournament and made some absolutely fantastic shots and movement in the D. Alice is coming along great at training and it showed in the tournament. From only playing for school a couple off times to joining our team. Well done Alice...keep it up 💙🩵

Lily B as always never stopped. Played C all day making brilliant interceptions and reading the game even at a fast pace and knowing where she needed to be and making herself free. Well done Lily...keep it up you little court whippet 💙🩵

Everyone at Humber Cyclones netball would like to say a Big Thank you to - The Daniel Wilkinson foundation for coming to over club and talking to the girls and parents, and also handing over to us a portable defibrillator. We will be taking this to all our games and training sessions. As a club we would like to say we are so sorry for the loss off your son, you are doing a brilliant thing in his memory and helping to save other people's life's. ❤️
