Since 2021 Harestanes academy have went from 1 kids team of 10 boys to over 350 kids boys & girls over many ages groups ranging from under 18s to under 5s .

52 volunteer coaches and many more parents behind the scenes .

Anti social behaviour in the area since 2021 is down as we create a home and a community within Harestanes/Merkland area.

Last weekend Harestanes carried out “keep Merkland tidy” campaign litter picking as we have been fed up with non action from our council to the local residents/football club .

Every week we have to encounter picking up other teams rubbish , Dog waste and broken glass to keep our kids and community safe .

This season we have now had Lets reduced to allow other clubs from out with Kirkintilloch & even East Dumbartonshire to train/play and disrespect our kids safe spaces .

It’s not on . 😡
