Yesterday we held our Balloted Triples Competition which was a great day throughout, plenty good bowls on show & plenty money raised via the bar & raffle. Most games were very tight across the green showing the format was a success in trying to balance out the new & experienced bowlers across the teams!
After tightly contested group games, the Semi-Finalists were:
SF1: Dave Hendry, Sophie Sands & Scott Wilson v Jean Campbell, Stuart Beresford & Madge McGeouch
SF2: Pete Brannan, Neil MacGregor & Colin Wood v Susan Hendry, Catherine Murdoch & Fraser Grant.
The final saw Scott Wilson's team v Fraser Grant's team, with Fraser's team taking an early lead which saw them through to victory - well done to Susan, Catherine & Fraser!
Our next all day competition is the Harris Open Pairs on 25th July, followed by the 1st Club Aussie Pairs towards the end of the season.
