The best team EVER!⭐️

Chris - Melodys Dad is running the Leicester Half Marathon and fundraising for our Student Access Fund🥹💛 We are so so grateful and thankful to have an amazing support team around us, and can’t wait to put the fundraising to incredible opportunities for our students⭐️

The student access fund was initiated by our amazing School of Rock Director & Acting Teacher Charlotte Emily Beaver. Raising money for local kids to access performance arts enrichment activities💛

Thank you!

Message from Chris:
My daughter, Melody, joined King Academy in 2023 and in that time we have watched her performance ability and confidence flourish. Everyone involved in King Academy, from the teachers to the other students, are always encouraging and supportive which has created a fantastic community. In Melody’s own words: “King Academy has really helped improve my performance skills and has boosted my confidence in singing and dancing. The King Academy fam has always been kind, caring and understanding when teaching. They have always shown love and guidance all the way through my experience with them. Xx”

King Academy have not only given so much to Melody, as well as the many other students that come through their doors, but us as a family too with theatre trips to see musicals becoming a regular family outing!

Because of all they do, when I signed up to take on the Leicester Half Marathon (taking place on Sunday 11th October 2026) I could think of no better cause to raise money for than Charlotte’s Access Fund to help King Academy reach as many young people in Wigston and provide opportunities to those that otherwise wouldn’t be able to benefit from all the good they do. If you are able to please consider donating to this incredible cause.
