You don’t have to know if they’ll love dance before they start… that’s EXACTLY why we offer FREE trials! 💖

There’s no pressure to already know the steps, have the right dance shoes or be able to do the splits 😅

Beginners are always welcome at RPA. Your child can simply come along, meet their teacher, join in with the class and see how they feel.

They might be a little nervous at first. They might surprise you and run straight in. They might discover their new favourite thing!

The whole point of a trial is to TRY.

Sometimes the biggest progress has nothing to do with dance steps…

It’s the child who was nervous to leave their parent on their first week, who now runs into the studio without looking back.

It’s the dancer who used to hide at the back, who now puts their hand up to demonstrate.

Or the child who once said “I can’t do it” suddenly volunteering to perform in front of everyone 🥹

Confidence doesn’t appear overnight. It grows through lots of little moments, trying something new, getting something wrong, trying again and having people around you cheering you on.

And we LOVE getting to watch those little changes happen in our classes 💕

One of the loveliest parts of dance classes is watching friendships develop along the way.

For lots of children, RPA gives them a whole different friendship group outside of school. They spend their classes learning together, laughing together and helping each other when something doesn’t quite go to plan 😅

Then add in rehearsals, performances, exams and all the excitement that comes with being part of a dance school, and there are SO many opportunities to make memories together ✨

Of course, they’re here to learn to dance… but having a group of friends to share it all with makes it even better 🫶

This weekend, Miss Holly took three of our senior dancers along to work and perform with her at Haddenham Steam Rally 💃

They took to the stage several times across the weekend, performing in front of a great audience and dancing to the incredible sound of an 89-key Leach & Overington fair organ!

Definitely not your average weekend of dancing! 😂👏

We absolutely LOVE being able to give our students experiences like this. Getting out of the studio, performing for different audiences, working alongside professionals and experiencing completely different types of events is such a valuable part of their development as performers 💜

A massive well done to our three seniors for representing RPA so brilliantly, and thank you to Miss Holly for giving them another fantastic opportunity! 🌟
