I went to Bali burnt out, stressed to eight, nine, ten hours of a day constantly.
If you’ve been here a while you’ll know something happened with my health earlier this year that got put down to stress.
That was the wake up call I needed.
So I made a decision when I landed. I was just going to live. Fully. No rushing, no striving, no what’s next.
And something genuinely shifted in me over there. No feeling constantly heightened. Just regulated. Calm. Happy.
People in Bali are happy because they’ve got food and clothes on their back. That is it. And that simplicity hit me harder than anything.
I remember being that girl. Never stressed. Just happy twenty four seven. And somewhere along the way I lost her a bit.
So that’s where I’m at now. Romanticising the small things. A walk. A slow morning. Just actually living in what I’ve already got rather than sprinting towards what’s next.
I just want to be happy. That’s it.

The biggest waterfalls in Bali ☁️
We are currently on our way to our next place and our driver said want to stop at waterfall? Thinking it was just going to be a small one, so we were fully dressed. We ended up here 🥹

PCOS has been renamed and honestly it is about time.
It it is now officially called PMOS. Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.
And while the name change is huge, what hits me most is how many women, myself included, were failed by the old one.
I was diagnosed and sent home with barely any information. No one explained insulin resistance. No one told me my metabolism, my hormones and my mental health were all tangled up together. I spent years trying every diet going, thinking I just wasn’t trying hard enough.
I wasn’t lazy. I just didn’t have the right information for my body.
That is exactly why I coach the way I do now. Because no woman should have to spend years figuring this out alone.
If you have been dismissed, told to just lose weight, or handed a diagnosis with no real support, this post is for you. Save it. Share it with someone who needs it.

This might be too much for some. But if it helps one of you, it is worth it.
Two years of no period. Every holiday spent terrified of bleeding through in front of everyone.
This week I was laid by the pool moaning about my cramps.
Then I caught myself. That is the version of me I used to pray for.
PCOS takes so much from you if you let it. But it does not have to.
