Very excited to announce that me and are launching our very first peri/menopause retreat day!
Iām fully aware that I have not yet gone through the menopause yet, but I have seen many relatives and clients go through the change, and itās something Iāve always been eager to learn about, especially as if any of us women are lucky enough, we will go through it as well!
With Hayley having her medical experience of nursing and me working in the health and fitness industry for 10+ years we have decided to put our experience and expertise together to create this amazing day for you.
Itās time for you and you only, this can feel like a really isolating time in your life, so itās important to know that youāre not alone, and learn about how you can best cope with all the changes it brings.

One of the biggest things I hear before every retreat is:
āWhat if I donāt know anyone?ā
The truth is, most women arrive feeling exactly the same.

The women in these photos all had one thing in commonā¦
They pushed themselves out of their comfort zone.
Some came alone.
Some felt anxious.
Some didnāt know anyone else attending.
Some hadnāt done anything like this before.
And yet here they are.
Laughing together.
Swimming in a lake together.
Hiking together.
Supporting each other.
Nobody came knowing everyone.
By the end of the weekend, they left with memories, confidence, new friendships and a reminder that life is about so much more than rushing from one responsibility to the next.

Not everything is about the scales, sometimes that number youāre seeing isnāt a true reflection of the progress youāre making!

CLIENT TRANSFORMATION!
Georgia first started working with me when I done the 5lb in 5 weeks for the food bank over Christmas! Since then she has been one of my online clients!
She has lost over 10kg in total during that time, all whilst still enjoying a social life!
When Georgia started, she felt like she didnāt really know what to do when she went the gym, and her workouts were random without structure. She struggled to get her steps in, and didnāt really know what or how much she should be eating.
Her workouts are now set for her, she never misses them, and can massively see a physical difference in her body, as well as feeling much stronger and fitter.
Weāve made changes to her daily routine to make sure her steps get hit daily.
Weāve worked out a calorie target thatās realistic for her and allows her to still enjoy herself when she has plans, and she smashes her protein target now she has more of an idea and understanding of nutrition.

Am I watching what I eat while Iām away?
NO!
2 weeks out of the 52 we get a year is not going to completely ruin your goals. Iām on a trip of a lifetime, enjoying every moment, I am not going to waste any time logging calories or depriving myself.
Iāve got so many clients at the moment who are preparing for holidays, and they all know that they do not need to be watching what they eat, yes if they really want to they could make āsmarterā choices, but itās not something I tell them they must do.
Youāve worked hard all year round, enjoy it for Christ sake!
