Meet Kenzie & Joe…

With Mini Kickers season well underway thought it only right to put a little post about these young lads! Both started their grassroots football journey by attending Mini kickers looking to join a team! A willing volunteer Joe’s dad Colin stepped forward to coach the team! Since then they have never looked back currently going into U14’s having some great success along the way!

These lads are now going back to where they started by helping our coaches on a Saturday morning with all the new kids waiting to start their grassroots journey!

Following a friendly tonight Coach Connor arranged a mini presentation for our U7’s to show appreciation for all their hard work after an excellent season! Seeing all the happy faces is what makes it all worth it!

🌟Our Alfie Baller🌟

Meet Alfie, he is a little superstar currently in our U8’s team! He’s been playing some excellent football recently & his performances haven’t gone unnoticed as he has only been invited to Everton FC for a 6 week trial! 👏🏻

🟡⚫️ Northfield U11 Blacks 🟡⚫️

Excellent effort from our U11’s in their Burscough tournament today! Made it all the way to the final conceding just 1 goal then losing out in a penalty shootout! Hard to take for the team but always proud of their efforts👏🏻

Meet Holly, she currently plays in goal for our Northfield U9’s having been with us since Mini Kickers! Following a few recent trials she has been accepted into the Liverpool ETC program for the next season!What a day for Holly & Her Family 👏🏻

🌟 She’s One Of Our Own 🌟

Meet Isabelle, she currently plays for our Northfield Blacks U11’s alongside the early learning development centre at LFC! Following a few recent trials she has found out today that she has made it into the academy for Manchester United! What an achievement! 🤩

🌟 Our Warrior 🌟

Meet Lewis, he has been at Northfield since the age of 4 where he started out at mini kickers! Since then he has become a big part of the club playing on both Saturdays & Sundays for his now U10’s teams! Unexpectedly last year Lewis got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes which meant having to spend time between home & alder hey children’s hospital whilst learning how this would affect his life going forward!

Lewis has always been a battler on the pitch & in true Type 1 warrior style he is looking to give back by doing a 5K run! 🏃‍♂️ 💨

This is to help raise money so he can purchase a PS5 for the diabetes ward at Alder Hey hospital to help give that little bit of normality whilst these children are staying there to be trained & fully understand their diagnosis for their lives going forward!
