💦 | Can your child get out of the pool by themselves?

Learning to swim is important, but knowing how to safely enter and exit the water matters too.

Children should become familiar with finding the pool edge, holding on securely and getting themselves out safely when appropriate for their ability.

These might seem like simple skills, but they're an important part of developing independence and confidence around water.

At Comfort Aquatics, water safety is part of learning to swim, not an extra. 💙

This Half Term, we’re heading to Holmwood House for a week of focused swimming designed to help children practise, build confidence and keep their progress moving.

💦 A few friendly reminders before your next lesson

Each of our venues has its own guidelines to help keep swimmers safe, shared spaces comfortable and lessons running smoothly.

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your lesson, ensure swimmers are wearing suitable swimwear and a swimming hat, and remember that photography and videography are not permitted.

Footwear, changing-room access, parking and poolside arrangements vary between Ealing, Oaklands and Harlow Freshwaters, so please swipe through and check the guidance for your venue before attending.
