Taking a look into the metalworking process of our current Maker in Residence, Fawzy.

They balance their residency here at the workshop whilst studying midwifery which has led them to exploring the form of a pregnant womb in metal. Bending and welding together metal rods in to curved natural silhouettes.

Blackhorse Workshop's Maker Residencies give free access to our workshop, desk space and courses periodically. Each round of residencies usually have a focus broadening engagement with groups such as local talent, young people and more.

Join the troupe here at Blackhorse Workshop for a fantastically funny bicycle-powered production of Shakespeareโ€™s โ€˜As You Like Itโ€™. In the Forest of Arden the stage is set for a full-throttle joyride of wooing, hilarious mistaken identity and the odd wrestling match.
