SOCIAL SUMMER SURVIVAL GUIDE ☀️🍹⁠
A reminder that summer doesn’t have to mean choosing between your social life and your fitness goals ☀️⁠

1) Stop aiming for perfection⁠
Summer schedules are different. Your routine might not look exactly the same as it did in February and that’s okay.⁠
The goal during busy seasons is maintenance, not perfection. One or two good sessions a week still keeps momentum moving forward.⁠
Consistency always beats the all-or-nothing cycle.⁠

2)Be flexible with your training⁠
Your social life and your fitness goals do not need to compete with each other.⁠
Got dinner plans Thursday? Train earlier that day. Away for the weekend? Prioritise movement before you leave.⁠
Instead of trying to “make up for” socials afterwards, build training naturally around them.⁠

3) Keep moving while travelling⁠
Not every session needs to be intense.⁠
Walk more. Swim. Explore a new city on foot. Find a local gym. Do a quick hotel workout. Stretch after long travel days.⁠
Movement keeps energy levels high and helps you return to routine without feeling like you’re starting from zero.⁠

4) Focus on how you feel⁠
Summer progress is not ruined by a few cocktails, BBQs or weekends away.⁠
Strong routines are built over months, not lost over days.⁠
Keep focusing on energy, confidence, strength and feeling good in your body instead of obsessing over perfection.⁠

5) Remember: fitness should enhance your life⁠
The best routine is the one that works with real life.⁠
Train hard with your mates. Enjoy the pub garden. Go on the trip. Say yes to the memories. Then come back and keep showing up.⁠
Balance is part of the process too 👊⁠

☀️Hello June💪⁠

It's time to show off the work you put in over winter!⁠

The early mornings, the sessions you nearly skipped, the classes that pushed you, the extra reps, the heavier lifts, the consistency when motivation came and went. Stronger bodies, stronger mindset, stronger routines.⁠

Now comes the part where life gets busier. Holidays booked, weekends filling up, late sunsets, pub gardens, weddings, travel plans and packed calendars. But this season has never been about chasing perfection. It’s about finding balance while staying connected to the habits that make you feel good.⁠

One session still matters. Showing up still matters. Looking after your body while enjoying your summer still matters.⁠

So here’s to a strong, social, balanced and jacked June 👊

“Strength is earned, not given.”⁠

Strength is built in the early mornings, the tough sessions, the reps you wanted to stop halfway through and finished anyway. It comes from consistency, patience, and the willingness to keep showing up even when progress feels slower than you’d like.⁠

There’s no shortcut to becoming stronger...physically or mentally. ⁠

This week, remember that the work you’re putting in matters, even when the results aren’t immediate. Keep earning it.

“Slowing down is sometimes the strongest thing you can do.”⁠

In a world that constantly pushes for more, faster, harder, taking a step back can feel uncomfortable. But recovery matters. Rest matters. Giving your body and mind space to reset is part of building long-term strength, not stepping away from it.⁠

The strongest athletes know when to push and when to recover. This bank holiday, listen to what your body needs. Move with intention, recover properly, and remember that slowing down can sometimes be the thing that keeps you moving forward.

Your warm-up is part of the workout.⁠

One of the biggest mistakes people make in training is treating the warm-up like something to “get through” before the real session starts, when in reality, it’s the thing preparing your body to move well, lift properly and perform at your best.⁠

This week, is sharing some of her go-to warm-up tips to help you get more out of your training:⁠

🔥 Activate the muscles you’re about to use, not just stretch randomly⁠
🔥 Focus on mobility where you need it most⁠
🔥Prime the pattern with a lightern movement⁠
🔥 Use the warm-up to mentally lock into the session ahead⁠

A good warm-up improves performance, helps movement quality, reduces injury risk and your body will thank you for it later.
