HARROW 96–19 EIRFC

A tough opening league fixture for a new-look Ignatians side at Wood Lane.

The visitors showed their best rugby in the first half, with Sam Rushmer crossing twice and Jack O’Toole adding a third, while Dan Shaw converted two from the tee as Ignatians went into the break trailing 49–19.

A difficult second half saw a strong Harrow side pull away, but there were positives to take from a young Ignatians team, with several players stepping up and some playing out of position.

🏉 Tries: Sam Rushmer (2), Jack O’Toole
🎯 Conversions: Dan Shaw (2)
⭐ Lavender Hill Garage Man of the Match: Sam Rushmer

A particularly proud moment for the club as six Senior Academy players made their senior debuts!

We regroup and go again.

🔜 Next up: Hammersmith & Fulham IIs

Run for Lucas 2026 💛💙

Yesterday, some of the lads joined Lucas’ friends and family at Regent’s Park to take on the 5k and 10k in his memory, raising money for the British Heart Foundation & EIRFC.

Another special day remembering Lucas and supporting a cause close to so many of us.

A huge well done to everyone who took part, as well as Henry who completed his incredible 120km challenge in support of OCD UK!

And of course, it was all finished off with some well-earned food and pints🍻
