MATCH SUMMARY | Middlesex County Cricket League – 1st XI Division Six

United Sporting CC produced a superb all-round performance to secure a convincing 21-run victory over Harlington Meadows CC.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, United Sporting CC were bowled out for 244 in 34.2 overs. Captain Ali Ashraf led from the front with a composed 55 (50), supported by Junaid Ahmed (38) and Lukman Ahmed (38). Valuable partnerships of 53 runs between Redwan Hossain and Ali Ashraf, and 54 runs between Ali Ashraf and Junaid Ahmed, laid the foundation for a competitive total.

In reply, Harlington Meadows CC were dismissed for 223, handing United Sporting CC a deserved 21-run win and 12 league points.

The standout performer was Sayem Ahmed, who delivered a sensational match-winning spell of 10 overs, 1 maiden, 31 runs, and 5 wickets (10-1-31-5) to earn the Player of the Match award. He was well supported by Junaid Ahmed (2 wickets), Md Abdul Basit (1 wicket), and Lukman Ahmed (1 wicket) as the bowling unit displayed excellent discipline throughout the innings.

A complete team performance, built on disciplined bowling, crucial partnerships, and determined batting, ensured another memorable victory for United Sporting CC.
