✨ Meet Glyn ✨

Glyn joined Lean Body Training looking for something he could finally stick with 💪

“Gym memberships being paid every month to a national gym chain was easy, but never motivated me to actually show up!”

The small group personal training format led by Paul, Mario and Lucy gave me accountability to go - and a training structure that worked.

You can get the personal attention you need, without the expense or the intimidation of being one on one with a personal trainer for a long session on your own.

Everyone's welcoming to new joiners, because we've all been there at some point.

We have different backgrounds but are all in our 40s to 60s and there's natural cameraderie as we persevere through the sessions together.

It's motivating to try to keep up with the next guy or ahead of another guy, but nobody in the group is the best at everything or the worst at everything.

The efficient routines make you want to build healthy habits in other parts of your life so you don't undo the good work you're doing in the sessions.

After a couple of years going twice a week, you've been to the gym 200 times for structured training and made some new friends.

Sure, you can tell yourself you could have just DIY'd that with a plan from YouTube or Insta, for free. But come on. You're 40+ and that's old enough to know when you're kidding yourself! “

Most men over 40 are not lazy.

They’re just exhausted.

Busy with their business/ career, providing for families, paying for mortgages, handling stress & trying to keep everything together.

And somewhere along the line, their own health gets pushed down to the bottom of the list.

A few missed workouts become a few years of neglect.

Energy drops, weight creeps up, confidence takes a hit.

Then one day they catch themselves in the mirror and think:

“When did this all happen?”

Most guys don't need another new diet...
They just need to eat like an adult again.

That means eating real, wholesome food -- think lean protein, veggies, lots of water -- not skipping meals during the day and raiding the fridge at night.

You don't have to eliminate all carbs or live on 'weight loss shakes'.

You just need to eat enough of the right foods -- enough to fuel your body, train consistently and recover properly.
