It’s always great to receive feedback like this, particularly when a member has seen such a positive impact on their sporting performance.
That is ultimately why I started Forefront, and why I’ve continued to evolve it: to give people who take their training seriously access to a high-quality strength and conditioning environment.
We currently have a limited number of Open Gym memberships available for experienced, independent trainees.

10 years.
For the past decade, we've been coaching people in and around Long Eaton to become stronger, healthier and more confident.
During that time, fitness has seen countless trends come and go. Exercises have been renamed. Training methods have been repackaged. Every year there's a new "must-do" programme.
We've never felt the need to chase them.
Instead, we've continued to coach using proven training principles that have stood the test of time. Progressive overload. Consistency. Good movement. Individual coaching. Hard work. They're not flashy, but they work.
Over those 10 years, we've also continued to invest in the things that genuinely improve the training experience. From specialist strength equipment to Olympic lifting platforms and purpose-built facilities, every investment has been made to help our members train better—not simply to follow the latest trend.
For most people, the journey starts with our non-committal 6 Week Reboot.
It's an opportunity to experience our coaching, learn how we train, begin building sustainable habits, and see whether Forefront is the right fit for you—without the pressure of a long-term commitment.
If it is, you can then move onto one of our monthly memberships and continue building on those foundations.
After 10 years, one thing hasn't changed.
Good coaching. Proven principles. Long-term results.

A brilliant start to the Forefront Athlete Academy ✅
The first session was about getting to know the athletes: learning about their sporting backgrounds, training experience and how they currently move.
We worked through the fundamental movement patterns, giving us a chance to see their individual strengths and identify where each athlete needs support.
This gives us the foundation to coach and develop them properly as the programme progresses.
A great first session from the group. Plenty to build on 💪

You don’t need to be fit before you start training.
That’s the wrong way round.
You start training so you can build fitness.
You don’t need to know exactly what to do.
You don’t need to be confident in the gym already.
You don’t need to be strong before you walk through the door.
That’s what coaching is for.
A good training environment should meet you where you are, give you a plan that makes sense, and help you progress from there.
That’s what we do at Forefront.
Whether you’re getting back into training, starting again after a long time off, or just tired of guessing what to do, you don’t need to have it all figured out first.
You just need to start properly.

You don’t always need more motivation.
Sometimes you just need a better plan.
A clear starting point.
A bit of structure.
The right level of coaching.
And something you can actually stick to.
That’s where most people make better progress.
Not by waiting to feel more motivated every week.
But by training with more purpose and more consistency.
At Forefront, that’s what we aim to provide.
A place to train properly.
A plan that makes sense.
And coaching that helps you keep moving forward.
If you’ve been drifting a bit with your training lately, this is your reminder:
You probably don’t need more motivation.
You need a plan.

Most people don’t need a more complicated programme.
They need more structure.
A clear plan.
A coach watching how they move.
The right exercises for where they are now.
Progressions that actually make sense.
Support when something feels off.
Accountability to keep showing up.
That’s what coaching gives you.
At Forefront, the aim isn’t to throw random workouts at people and hope something sticks.
It’s to help you train properly, build confidence, and make progress over time.
Whether you’re starting again, coming back after time away, or just tired of winging it, structure makes a massive difference.
