🏏 🥎 Long Eaton SNT Sports Day 🥎 🏏

Today we held our half term Sports Day with members of the community and it was such a lovely day! Thank you to Supporting Communities for joining us and everyone who came for a kick about.

We would like to give a special thanks to Active Derbyshire for gifting us some of our sports equipment and helping make engagements like this happen!!!!

We're all set up on West Parks Events Field, come and join us for a fun packed afternoon of sports and activities !!! 🏈

The Ice Cream van is ready for you all!!!🍦

A reminder that everyone living in Long Eaton and the surrounding areas are welcome to join us for our Sports Day!!

This will be on the West Park events field tomorrow, Saturday 22nd August at 14:00.

We will also be joined by Eaton Rugby, Supporting Communities and an ice cream van 🍦

There will be football, running races, Rugby skills sessions, tug of war and much more, all of course free of charge.

Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there!!! 🚔

Tree-mendous team work 🌳

When a fallen tree blocked a main road in Risley, officers from Long Eaton SNT, members of the local community and restaurant and a local landscaping company came together to get the road cleared.

A fantastic example of the community coming together, putting safety first and keeping everyone moving.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped to help out 🍃

Summer holidays in full swing in Long Eaton ☀️ ⛱️ 🚔

Officers have been out and about in the community tackling ASB and other hot spot areas in and around Long Eaton, below is a short overview of some outcomes from your local officers.

🔵 Wanted male- spotted by officers for failing to appear in court was arrested and remanded to court.
🔵 Wanted male- spotted by officers also wanted for not appearing at court was arrested and remanded.
🔵 Wanted female - Arrested for failing to appear at court and remanded.
🔵 A vehicle was seized and recovered by officers, being driven by a disqualified driver, the male was summonsed to court.
🔵 Whilst on patrol officers carried out a stop search on a vehicle of interest, were a quantity of class A drugs were recovered and the driver was arrested for possession with the intent to supply.
🔵 A vehicle was stopped that was linked to drug dealing, a male was searched and found with large quantities of drugs, he was also arrested for possession with the intent to supply.
🔵 Male well known from intelligence reports was stop searched and found with large quantities of class B drugs, he was arrested and the Investigation is ongoing.

🎵 Breaston Summer Band Concert 🎵

Last Saturday officers from Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood team joined residents and the Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner in Breaston for their Summer Band Concert!!

This is a ticket only event so please ensure you have your tickets ready on entry.

The event will begin at 11:30am and should finish for 10pm.

Please be respectful to others when traveling to and from the area and allow time for potential traffic queues.
