spot the lemon costume 👀

Yesterday we celebrated our 3 year anniversary 🎉 This whole event could have just been an experiment for Ash and Alex to see how much food our community could bring to pickleball for them, we’ll never know... Turns out you’re all great at using frying pans in the kitchen at home and on the court!

We raised over £500 for our Lemon Pickleball Foundation, which will go towards bringing pickleball to schools underserved areas in London. With this amount, we can fund 3 whole classes 😎

If you would like to make a donation, please head to our website. Link is in our profile bio (via ‘DONATE’).

Thank you to:
for their support on the day, offering paddle demos and donating a new Project Flex paddle as our main raffle prize.
Third Shot for also donating a merch prize bundle
Vita Coco, punchy & TENZING NATURAL ENERGY for supplying drinks!
Wren Sterling for their constant support as always!

see you next year! or tomorrow at a session. and yes actual lemons were brought by members 🤭

Day in the life of our very own pro-pickler Alexander Minogue-Stone at the English Open, narrated by our equally very own and semi-pro-pickler Ash Spencer!

Fair warning it involves equal amounts of food as it does pickleball but those are his two main loves - in that order!

Successful tournament for Lemon at Amber Valley Pickleball Club this week and last! 🍋

🥇 Alex and Evie - Open Mixed Doubles
🥇 Khyra and Nikki - 4.0 Womens doubles (not pictured)
🥈 Tiana and Ollie - 4.0 Mixed Doubles
🍋 4th place for Varun and Charlie, R16 for Josh and Roberto, QF for Stella and Megan. Lastly Stella and Roberto just missing out on R16 due to them not playing their hype song before playing (Kung Fu Fighting) but that doesn’t stop Stell from having a boogie on the court (last slide)

Thank you to Amber Valley Pickleball Club for hosting a great event!
