This weeks Loughborough Dynamo Juniors F.C. round up.
Another weekend full of action.
Saturday saw the 3rd installment of our u9 Gold MJPL season with the team coming out with a comfortable 1st place against Next Generation with goals coming from a free kick from Renzo, Ronnie with a Reg assist, Freddie with an assist from the keeper GF, Olu and Ruben assist and finally Ruben with an Olu assist. Sterling performance from the lads. Starting to pick up some form. Proud of the boys achievements.
Sunday saw the majority of oir other junior teams in action.
Under 8 Ambers got a 1st place away at St Andrews, difficult pitch to play on but really looked to get the ball down and play football. Goals coming from Carter 4, Max 3, Kai 1 and Thomas 1. MOTM today was Max B (pictured)
U9 Blacks unfortunately came 2nd in a close game against Riverside United. We battled hard and played well but just could not break down their defence to get that second equalizing goal. Liam had managed to score earlier on in the game to equalise for the first time but we just came short this time. Player of the match was Kobi D.
U9 Amber got another 1st place today with another brilliant performance from the boys. Goals from Charlie x2, James H x2, James A and Satya.
A team that beat us 10-0 last season and hadn’t been beaten this season. A great reflection of just how far this group has come.
POTM: George
U9 Golds played Croft Juniors away today and ran out with an emphatic 1st placegoals from Renzo, Ruben got a hatrick, Olu x 2 , Ronnie x 2 and Freddie who had dynamite in his boots with an amazing 4. Ruben and Reg and Ronnie pulling the strings with multiple assists. POTM was Mr safe hands himself George.
Under 9 blues got a well deserved 1st at home against Groby titans, strong defensive display with some good solo runs and goals today from Logan and Coby x2 and a OG with elliot picking up MOTM for a very strong display in goal making some very good saves and commanding his goal area all match.
U10 Golds gained another 1st place against mountsorrel, bit of a slow start, but a really strong second half, Jackson was our man of the match 4 goals today ⚽️⚽️⚽️
U11 Blacks took a first away at Oadby to continue their winning streak (2 friendlies & 4 league games). Solid performance that could have been a lot wider had it not been for the absolute heroics from Oadbys keeper.
Goals for Edi & Ellis T and a first clean sheet for Charlie who opted for a full time GK role this season. POTM award for Ellis T
U11s Golds with a comfortable 1st place at home against Lutterworth hurricanes with everyone putting in a great performance all round. Goal of the match (maybe season) coming from Noah with a 25 yd top bin 😳 Other goals coming from Leo x3, Cristian x2, Layton. POTM going to Cristian for his 2 goals and constant battling to get the ball from the front ⚽️ 👊
U12 Gold won 7-4 away to Groby 4-1 up at half time Stan saving a penalty. Switch around of positions saw Groby pull it back to 4-4, strong last 10 minutes from the team saw us score 3 further goals. Scorers were Issac x2, Kyan x2, Archie B, Boriz (pick of the goals) and Kaison. Slow start to second half aside the team once again showed great determination and played some really impressive football and got another win to remain unbeaten in the league so far. Kaison picking up player of the match, could of gone to one or 2 of the others for the attitude, determination and teamwork.
U13 girls committed daylight today by snatching their first ever 0-0 draw. Having lost all previous matches against Loughborough Foxes and with 3 players out including the top scorer, the girls put in a performance of character with them even coming close to snatching what would have been an outrageous victory with a chance late on. A player of the match performance from Lola for some superb saves and brilliant distribution. Well done to the team for persevering under difficult circumstances.
East Goscote U13’s 0 - 14 U13 Lionesses
Massive win for the girls in what was a very one sided game. Goals from: Keeva x4, Georgia x2, Meagan x2, Evie x2, Ava, Isla, Matilda, Holly
Player of the match was given to our GK Megan for staying focused all game even though she didn’t have a lot to do.
Oadby & Wigston girls U14 2 - 5 Loughborough dynamo girls U14…
Slow start to the game, but soon found rhythm, against a very physical side that doesn’t like loosing.
The girls held there own and stayed focused throughout, even when the opposition team got messy towards the end of the game.
Well drilled performance from the girls throughout the game.
Goals - Ivy x2, Eva x1, Mabel x1 & Ava x1
Player of the match - Ava… read the game extremely well at the back and finished the scoring off with a nicely slotted peno.
Under 15’s lost 3-1 to whetstone. Really good performance despite the result.
We didn’t have a recognised striker and our keeper (William) has a suspected fractured hand. We also Missed a penalty at 1-0 and that could have changed the game. They made it 3-1 with the last kick of the game but lots of positives!!!
u16 Girls Loughborough Dynamo away to Chess FC
Captain: Libby S / Vice Captain: Mollie T
Final Score - 2-0 Loss!
Really tough day at the office…
They are a very physical team, and I think they had the lions share of the refereeing decisions today. That doesn’t take away their desire to get on the first and second ball before us, which they did today and in the end I think that’s what cost us.
We didn’t get into our own footballing rhythm.
Player of the game: Arabella - Really confident display at the back, consistent throughout. Well done 👏🏻
U16s with a 3-2 win vs Anstey Nomads Swifts. Tough, physical game, but the boys showed character, moved the ball quickly and played some good stuff.
U18s lost 5-1 away to Anstey - coach Stece Warren commented I don't want to talk about it 😫.
As always massive thanks to the team in the Clubhouse. Have a great week we will be back next week with more.

Sunday is upon us, can only mean one thing. More football at the NSG. Tea bar open throughout.

The Loughborough Dynamo Juniors F.C. weekend round up.
Saturday MJPL U9 Gold
MJPL fixture against CP academy at home Dynamo ran out 8-5 winners but were down 4 - 1 at half time. Goals from Olu D x 3 Ruben H x 2 Reggie Ronnie and George the GK scored from his own box as a birthday treat to himself
U8
Under 8 Ambers fot 1st place against a good technical Kirby Muxloe. Trailing with 10 minutes to go and managed to get 3 late goals to make it 3/3 in the league now. Carter getting 4 goals and MOTM 🙌🙌⚽️⚽️
Under 8 Golds had their 1st league game today coming away with a deserved 1st place against a very tough Harborough Town side. Best team performance ive seen from them so far with everyone working hard for each other. Goals from Reid x2 Levi x1. POTM going to Reid for a 1st half clean sheet and 2 goals in the 2nd half.
U8 Blacks came 2nd today against Karma FC.
A bit of a slow start by us and strong pressure by them, finishing the first half trailing.
Much more positive second half, with the majority of posession, a nice goal and also better defensive pressure limiting them to just the one goal in the second half.
POTM to Jayaan for being the driving force behind our attacks and scoring a nice little goal.
U9
Under 9 blues were away to Iannis blues in what turned out to be a high scoring end to end game for the neutrals that could have gone dynamos way but unfortunately didn’t today.
goals from Logan, Coby, mozza x2 and Malachi x3 with Coby picking up MOTM for some fantastic assists from the back line and scoring a goal himself.
U9 Blacks got a convinving 1st place at home with a hattrick from Liam and Gabriel and a goal from Leo. Some superb play and an absolute goalfest against a team who could not handle the fire power we had. 3 1st place in a row with only 3 goals conceded in total.
U9 Golds have had a tough weekend but the character they have shown is very promising for their future careers. Sunday we had a really tough physical game against Studs 3-1 down but drew 3 all. Olu D and a brace from Freddie H a left foot screamer and one from the spot. POTM Olu D for MJPL fixture and LDMFL fixture was Ronnie. Great weekend for both lads.
U9 Ambers got a well deserved convincing 1st place. Some really, really good football from the boys today. Moved the ball well, played for each other and scored some lovely goals.
Great to see so much of what we’ve been working on coming through in the game.
Goals: Satya x3, Charlie x2, James H, Lochlan, Aiyaz
POTM: Satya
U9 Whites played Kegworth Imps coached by the legend that is @⁨Gaz Rodgers⁩ for a team that have played 5 games we had some good moments where we could have scored and although the scoreline would suggest otherwise we defended really well as a group, but sadly we finished 2nd. A true development team making good progress. Well done Gaz hoping you get moved up a level before we play you again 🤣🤣🤣.
U10
U10 Golds with a worthy 1st place at home to Glenfield united, a slow start the first half 0-0 but the second half they really worked hard, completely changed the score, well done Joshua man of the match some fantastic saves today 🔥👏 🎉 well done! Goals from Jackson, Henry and TJ ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️👍
U11
U11 Blacks got a first at home to Shepshed Dynamo. A great performance from the whole team. Tiredness creeping in towards the end having played against more players for the majority of the time.
Goals from George x 3, Ellis T, Riley and Tommy.
POTM for George
U11 Golds drew 4-4 battling hard to come back from 2 early goals at home to Croft. Goals came from Leo x2, Dillon and Arlo with a POTM from Yasin in goal.
U12
Dynamo u12 amber lost 3-4 at home to nirvana today. A very aggressive game with the team conceding 2 soft penalties and numerous off side goals, being chalked off. A bit of a learning today for the team but every player should be proud of themselves playing against these teams with some kids being almost 2 years older.
U12 Gold drew 1-1 (Jack J goal is shown). Some great football on a pitch that was slightly over grown. The game had penalty saves, full stretch tips around the post. A draw a fair result on the whole. Charlie I Potm with as accomplished a defensive performance you'll see at any age. Shout out to our opposition Sileby a well coached team was a pleasure to host them.
U12 Blues lost 12-1. We’re struggling with numbers and have 3 kids playing a year up. With key players going on to new teams at the start of the season. It has left spaces to fill if anyone knows of year 7 kids looking for a new team please reach out to Rachel.
U13
U13 girls won 3-2 away at Rugby Borough in an afternoon kick off. Goals from Martine (2) and Naia. An excellent debut from Karmen and a great all round team performance. Bring on Loughborough Foxes next week!
U16
Loughborough Dynamo U 16 Girls 1 - 0 Whetstone Athletic
Wow , what a performance by the girls! We turned up today with only 11 players and knew we were in for a tough game against a solid opposition. The girls showed from the very first whistle that they were up for it today. After 20 mins, Esme had to come off injured which left us playing with 10 but her courage and determination got her back on the pitch to help her team.
After 38 mins, a back post cross from Sophie was met by the knee of Julia to put us up 1-0 just before half time.
We asked the girls to leave everything out on the pitch 2nd half, and they did just that! We were most definitely the better team over the whole game and could have scored a couple more.
Incredible determination by every single player today, and 2 very proud Coaches!!
Player of the match went to Arabella who was immense at the back but genuinely, all 11 Players gave 100%. Well done 👏🏻
U16 Boys got a 7-1 win
U18
U18s fought hard for a 2-1 win over Asfordby. 3 out of 3!!
So far it's a great Last Dance 🕺.
That concludes this weeks action big shout out to the team in the clubhouse over the weekend kept the refreshments flowing. Thanks as always to those that represent Dynamo be that on the pitch or the sidelines. Check the comments section for photos and reels from the weekend. Have a good week.

Loughborough Dynamo Juniors F.C. weekend round up, starting with our u9 Golds who kicked of their MJPL campaign at home to Santos Acadrmy on Saturday morning. Tough test against the side from Northamptonshire and despite going down 2-1 it felt like the young Moes got stronger and more confident as the game went on. Reuban H getting the goal.
Onto Sunday will start with the Dynamo Derby at u13 girls age group.
A landmark day for the club. The U13 girls played in the first ever all Loughborough Dynamo fixture. The score ended 3-3 in a close end-to-end match. All in all, an entertaining and competitive fixture. (Pictured)
With it being the off week for u8 category we move on to u9.
Under 9 blues had their first home game today against houghton rangers and came first in a great game for the blues with some great passing and fast goals.
goals from Ernie,Elliott,Noah,Malachi 3 and Logan 2 with Logan (pictured) picking up MOTM for his fantastic energy from the front line all match.
U9 BLACKS put in a fantastic performance today as they took first place against Leicester Nirvana, coming away with a brilliant victory. A great team effort, with the goals coming from Liam (3) and George (2).
Well done, boys!
U9 another game where we gave ourselves a little mountain to climb, but the boys gave absolutely everything as they battled to turn it around.
Some brilliant football, loads of chances and a huge effort right until the final whistle. We just fell short to finish 2nd, there was so much to take from the way the boys kept going and kept believing.
Goals from James A, Henry (2) and James H (2).
Player of the Match: Charlie
U9 Golds were back in action on Sunday and came away with a fantastic victory to take 1st place against Rothley, with the boys playing extremely well for the full 40 minutes.
Goals from Ruben, Freddie (2), Olu (3), Reggie, Renzo and an own goal.
Well done, boys — another weekend of learning, competing and giving it everything.
U10 Golds claimed an away 1st place against East Goscote United, we had a great start, slowed down a bit towards the end of the first half, but we very quickly scored 5 more goals at the start of the second half, well done Henry man of the match a hat trick today! 🎉 the second half we played up hill with most of the time the opposition having an extra player, so they really did well ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
U11
U11 Blacks claimed a first place away to Leicester United in what was a very physical game which they tried their best to rise above and see it out until the end. Really well deserved win.
Goals for Ellis W x 2, Ellis T x 2, Edi, Oscar and Oliver.
POTM went to Ellis W for fantastic efforts all over the pitch.
U11s Golds also claimed 1st place away to harborough town with only 8 players and our regular goalie injured. Team performance was awesome with some great passing play! A tough decision for POTM award going to Arlo. Goals from Leo (2) and Noah ⚽️ 👊
U12 Leicestershire County cup format has changed and all teams were in the hat together (division one recieved a bye).
U12 Gold travelled to Judgemeadow College to face higher level opposition with 10 players conceeded a goal almost direct from kickoff which put us on the back foot from the get go. We went in at the half 3-0 down. Second half was a different the team worked tirelessly and honestly to get into the game we got our reward when Boriz neatly finished Kaisons corner. A few minutes later Boriz was in again but hit the post then on the rebound at full stretch managed to hit the other post. Pushing more and more to get more goals we conceded 2 further goals and went out the cup. The team gave a good account of themselves against a tough and physical opposition and on another day with full squad it could of been different, but as a coach I cannot fault the team today.
U12 Blues lost 12-0 in the cup. MOTM went to Leyland who in his first appearance for us battled hard, kept his head up and kept the teams spirits up. We go again next week.
13 -0 away win for Dynamo ambers u12. 7 goals form Tyron, 6 different scorers with a goal from our keeper Albert also, with 3 additional goals ruled out for offside. Most important highlight was the sportsmanship of our players and respect shown to the other team. We all remember those games where your on the end of the result.
U14 Girls continue their great start to the season with a 2-3 win away at Asfordby Amateurs. The girls had control of the game for the majority and seemed to be cruising at 3-0 with about 20 minutes go. Credit to the Asfordby Girls who fought back to 2-3 and gave us a nervy finish. Player of the match was Martha as she has been our stand in keeper for the last 2 weeks and has done a stella job. (Coach Aaron's thoughts pictured).
U16s Boys had another slow start and entertaining game.
2 nil down after about 30mins
Our striker sent off
2 nil down, down to 10men
Half time
Second half
Won 4-2
Incredible spirit and energy well done team.
u16 Girls Loughborough Dynamo away to Albert Village Tigermoths u16 Girls
Final Score - Dynamo Win 2-3
Really positive first game of the season, tough team to play and even more so on their turf.
Overall I think we dominated the ball and play for large spells of the game.
They are a physical side who got amongst us, we handled the pressure well and defended really well as a unit, even with changeable and positional tactics at play from my side of which the defence held strong and adapted really well to throughout the game.
Attacking wise, we created chances all game, with forward and progressive play on both wings and we got crosses into the box and into the forwards, who ran tirelessly throughout the game, putting pressure onto their players.
Player of the game: Sophie B with a polished performance on the wing! Sophie drove their left back into the danger zone all game and got crosses a plenty into their box, scored a great goal from a difficult angle to top it off.
Special mention for Julia with a really well taken goal today and built confidence in the game, some fantastic touches on the ball and turns out of their players creating herself space to play the ball, which was really good to see.
U18s continued their find start to "the last dance" (look out for the Netflix documentary in autumn 27) with an 8-0 win away to Beaumont - fantastic result and team effort 🥳.
As always thanks to all those that make Loughborough Dynamo Juniors happen each week. Have a good week and we do it all again next week.
