𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗗𝗔𝗜𝗦𝗬! ✍️🇬🇧

The Leicester Riders are delighted to confirm the signing of British guard Daisy Porter, who returns to the club following a season away from Loughborough as part of her university placement.

Porter, who had suited up for the Leicester Riders first team back in 2024/25, was a key member of our Loughborough Riders Division One squad during her first two seasons with the club. Across the 2024-25 season, Porter averaged 7.9 points, 3.9 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game in NBL D1.

Porter first joined the Riders as part of her studies at Loughborough University back at the start of the 2023/24 season after graduating from the Oaklands Wolves WEABL academy. The British guard now returns after completing her placement year away from Loughborough, and will become a full time member of our first team squad along with continuing her studies and competing for the university BUCS teams.

Head Coach Nick Moodey is excited to have Daisy back in the Riders setup:

“It’s great to have Daisy back with us after a year away for her University placement.

As someone that has already been involved with the programme before, she’s someone that understands what we want our identity to be.

She is someone that brings a great attitude and level of maturity and can impact the game at any moment on either end of the floor and can come up with some game winning plays.”
