Initial cast Crossroads & Sun are present. I then turned over Cythe.

I feel the Runes are telling us that we may be slightly afraid to move forward and there is something niggling at the back of our minds, but we need to be strong and make that final decision to put this to rest.

The Sun is urging us to walk into this fresh new week, with vitality and strength, as good things are on the horizon, we just need to jump over that initial hurdle and make good choices for a smooth transition.

Tarot or Runes?

Tarot and Runes can both offer guidance, but they speak in very different ways.

Tarot often unfolds like a story.

There are images, characters, symbols, emotions and layers to explore.

Runes tend to feel much more stripped back.

A symbol.

A meaning.

An energy.

And sometimes a message that lands with absolutely no messing about. 😂

That’s one of the reasons I love working with both.

Sometimes you need the detail.

Sometimes you need the straight answer.

And sometimes combining intuition with an ancient symbol gives you exactly the perspective you couldn’t quite see for yourself.

Ever Been Curious About Runes?

You’ve probably seen Tarot cards.

You may even have had a Tarot reading before.

But Runes? They can still feel a little mysterious. ✨

Runes are an ancient form of divination, traditionally used for guidance, insight and reflection.

Rather than giving you a long story like Tarot sometimes can, they can be wonderfully direct.

They can highlight:

🌹 What energy is surrounding you
🌹 What may be influencing a situation
🌹 What you’re being encouraged to notice
🌹 Where something may be blocked
🌹 And what could help you move forward

Sometimes one tiny symbol can say an awful lot.

The message feels powerful and beautifully aligned with movement, energy and transformation.

Today is about leaning into the vitality that’s available to you.

Move your body in ways that feel good.
Let yourself flow.
Let movement shift what has felt stuck.

You are in a period of transformation, and you don’t have to force it.

Allow movement to reconnect you with your strength, your confidence and your inner fire.

As you move, imagine yourself releasing the limiting beliefs, old stories and doubts that have been holding you back from the life you want to create.

There is courage here.
There is endurance.
There is intuition.
There is protection.
And there is a reminder that you are far stronger than you sometimes give yourself credit for.

🌹 What Are You Already Being Nudged Towards?

Sometimes intuition doesn't arrive as a huge revelation.

Sometimes it's simply that little thought that keeps coming back.

The idea you can't quite shake.
The conversation you feel you need to have.
The place you keep thinking about visiting.
The opportunity you're curious about.
The change you've been quietly considering.
The thing you keep saying “one day” about.
We often wait for a massive sign before we trust ourselves, when the signs may have been there all along.

Your intuition doesn't always shout.
Sometimes it nudges.
Then nudges again.
And again...
Until eventually you pay attention. 🌹

So today, instead of asking yourself “What should I do?”, try asking:

What am I already being nudged towards?

Don't overthink the answer. Notice what came into your mind first.
You don't have to act on it today.
You don't need to know where it will lead.
Just acknowledge it.

Because sometimes the next step has been quietly waiting for you to notice it all along. ✨

🌹 Behind the Scenes at The Rune & Rose Sanctuary 🌹

Have you ever wondered what actually happens when you book a reading with me? 🌹

Every reading begins before I even touch the cards or Runes.

First, I take a little time to think about the person I'm reading for and tune into their energy.

From there, I prepare my space.
I intuitively choose the crystals that I'm drawn towards for that particular reading and cleanse both my space and the tools I'll be working with. No two setups are exactly the same because I allow the reading — and the person it's for — to guide me.

Then it's time for the reading itself. 🔮
I don't work with a rigid “you've paid for X cards, so you get X cards” approach.
Instead, I intuitively select the number of cards or Runes I feel are needed depending on the depth of the reading and what begins to unfold.

Sometimes that's a few.
Sometimes they clearly have a lot to say. 😂

I also record a video of me physically casting your Runes or pulling your cards, so you get to see that part of your reading for yourself. 💜

Once everything has been cast or drawn, I take my time interpreting the messages, looking at how the individual Runes or cards connect with one another and building the bigger picture of your reading.

Then comes the part you don't normally see...

I write everything up into your own personalised little reading booklet, adding additional photographs where they're helpful.
Your booklet is then emailed directly to you, giving you something you can keep, revisit and reflect on whenever you want.

Because for me, a reading isn't something I want to rush through.
It's your reading.
Your energy.
Your messages.
Your guidance.

And I want the whole experience to feel personal from the moment I begin preparing my space to the moment your reading arrives in your inbox. 🌹

One of the things I've had to learn is the difference between my intuition speaking... and my brain just overthinking absolutely everything. 🤣

And they can feel very similar at first.
For me, intuition tends to arrive quietly and quickly.

It's that first little knowing.
A feeling.
A pull towards something.
Sometimes it's simply “this feels right” before I've even worked out why.

Overthinking comes afterwards.
That's the bit that starts asking...
But what if...?

Have I got this completely wrong?
Should I wait?
What will everyone else think?

Maybe I should analyse this from another 47 different angles first... 😂

I've found that the more I work with my Runes and cards, the more I've learned to recognise that difference.

My intuition doesn't usually give me a twenty-minute presentation explaining its reasoning.
It gives me the nudge.

My brain writes the PowerPoint afterwards. 🤣

So if you're trying to reconnect with your own intuition, try noticing what came before all the thinking started.

What was your very first feeling?
You don't have to blindly follow every instinct you have — but sometimes it's worth listening before your logical mind gets a chance to drown it out. 🌹

And if you're feeling drawn towards a reading but have absolutely no idea which one to choose, don't overthink that either. 💜

🃏 Tarot Reading — ideal when you'd like to explore something in more depth, uncover different influences and gain a fuller picture of what's going on.

🌙 Oracle Reading — a gentler, more intuitive style of guidance when you're looking for reflection, reassurance or a message around where you are right now.

There isn't a “right” one you have to choose.
Sometimes you'll simply feel drawn to one.
And perhaps that's your intuition answering the question for you. 😉🌹
