⚽ MACCLESFIELD JUNIOR FC U12 Blues - Match Report ⚽

Although the boys came away with a 4-2 defeat, the scoreline didn’t quite reflect the game, with plenty of moments where it felt like a draw would have been a fair result!

The boys worked incredibly hard from start to finish, showing great determination, strength and teamwork throughout. We created some great opportunities in front of goal and showed real fight to get ourselves on the scoresheet. Both goals were a fantastic team effort, with everyone playing their part and working together to make things happen. 💪⚽

A huge well done to Jacob who hasn’t been with us long, he had a brilliant game, scoring both goals and deservedly picking up Player of the Match! 🏆👏

Our goalkeeper also deserves a special mention for some absolutely cracking saves! 🧤🔥 His performance was recognised by the opposition, who awarded him Man of the Match — a fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved.

While the result didn’t go our way, there’s so much to be proud of. The boys were strong, worked hard for each other 💪⚽️🔥

🐯💙💛 CONGLETON TOWN JUNIORS WHITE U14 vs MACCLESFIELD JUNIORS U14 TIGERS 💛💙🐯

⚽ A TOUGH DAY FOR THE TIGERS! ⚽

Not every Sunday goes to plan, and today was one of those days for our Tigers! 🐯💪

After some fantastic performances in recent weeks, today just wasn’t quite our day. We were slow out of the blocks, second to too many balls and didn’t quite show the communication, energy and togetherness that we’ve become known for.

👏 FULL CREDIT TO CONGLETON! They came out fighting, played with real intensity, worked together and thoroughly deserved their victory.

As the game went on, the Tigers started to show glimpses of what they’re capable of, with some positive individual performances, but we just couldn’t find that spark today. ⚽

💙💛 BUT THIS IS WHAT FOOTBALL IS ALL ABOUT! 💛💙

Last season, these boys enjoyed incredible success and got used to winning. But football isn’t just about the victories, the goals and the celebrations…

It’s about CHARACTER. RESILIENCE. LEARNING. AND COMING BACK STRONGER! 💪🔥

One result doesn’t define this team. One tough performance doesn’t change the talent, ability or potential these boys have!

Sometimes the biggest lessons come from the hardest games! 🐯💙

🏆⭐ COACHES’ PLAYER OF THE MATCH – ALFIE! ⭐🏆

In a difficult game, Alfie stood tall! 💪👏

Kept his composure, worked tirelessly and did everything he could to hold things together for the team. A fantastic attitude when things weren’t going our way! 💙💛

🏆⭐ PARENTS’ PLAYER OF THE MATCH – HUGO! ⭐🏆

A very close vote with Joshua, but Hugo takes the award today! 🔥👏

Never stopped battling, competed for everything and showed real determination right until the final whistle! A proper fighter’s performance! 🐯💪

👏 SPECIAL MENTION – JOSHUA!

Another player who deserves huge credit for his effort, resilience and determination in a tough game! 💙💛

🐯 HEADS UP, TIGERS! 🐯

We’ve celebrated the highs together, and we’ll face the tough days together too!

We learn from today, dust ourselves down, get back to work on Tuesday and come back stronger! 💪🔥

WIN TOGETHER. LOSE TOGETHER. LEARN TOGETHER. 💙💛

ONCE A TIGER, ALWAYS A TIGER! 🐯🔥

🐯💙💛 MACCLESFIELD JUNIORS U13 TIGERS 0–0 SANDIWAY & CUDDINGTON 💛💙🐯

⚽ TOP OF THE TABLE CLASH! ⚽

1st vs 2nd… and WOW, what a battle it was! 🔥💪

From the very first whistle, we knew this was going to be a tough one! Both teams showed incredible fight, determination and spirit, with end-to-end action throughout! ⚽🔥

The Tigers faced a massive challenge when we went down to 10 players following a deserved red card for a poor challenge. But what happened next showed the TRUE HEART OF THIS TEAM! 🐯💙💛

With their backs against the wall, the Tigers dug deep, defended like warriors and STILL managed to create chances! 💪

🥅 One effort SMASHED against the post!

🥅 Another CRASHED off the crossbar!

🧤 And with seconds remaining, Sandiway & Cuddington unleashed a fantastic strike that looked destined for the net… until KASPER pulled off one of the BEST SAVES we’ve EVER seen! 🤯👏🔥

🛡️ MASSIVE shoutout to our defensive warriors — ISAAC, LIAM, BRODIE & EDWARD! Absolutely outstanding! Every tackle, every block, every clearance… you gave EVERYTHING for that badge! 👏💪

🏆⭐ MAN OF THE MATCH — OLLIE STEWART! ⭐🏆

WHAT. A. PERFORMANCE! 🔥

Never stopped running, battled for every ball, bossed the midfield and was inches away from scoring when he rattled the post! An absolute machine from start to finish! 💪🐯

0–0 on the scoreboard, but a MASSIVE performance in terms of character, heart and togetherness! 💙💛

Couldn’t be prouder of these Tigers! 🐯💙💛

WE FIGHT TOGETHER. WE DEFEND TOGETHER. WE ARE TIGERS! 🐯🔥

🐯⚽️ U11 TIGERS – WHAT A TEAM, WHAT A PERFORMANCE! 💙💛🔥

💪 HEART, PASSION & INCREDIBLE FIGHTING SPIRIT!

What a performance from our U11 Tigers today! 🙌🐯

Up against a strong Witton side who arrived full of confidence after three consecutive wins, our Tigers showed exactly what they’re made of! 💪⚽️

TWICE we went behind, and TWICE we battled back! 🔥👏

The determination, teamwork and belief from every single player were absolutely outstanding. Nobody gave up, nobody stopped fighting, and every Tiger played their part! 💙💛

A last-minute goal may have denied us the result, but it certainly didn’t take away from a performance full of positives! 🙌

🏆 JOINT PLAYERS OF THE MATCH 🏆

🌟 CHARLIE & THOMAS 🌟

Two brilliant performances, but honestly, every single Tiger could have taken that trophy home today! 👏

🐯 SO PROUD OF THIS TEAM! 💙💛

The confidence, togetherness and never-give-up attitude these lads are showing is fantastic to see. Performances like today show just how far this group is coming! 💪

KEEP BELIEVING, KEEP WORKING HARD & KEEP PLAYING WITH THAT TIGERS SPIRIT! 🐯🔥

🏆 PLAYER OF THE WEEK – GEORGE! 🏆

A massive shoutout to little George, who is just 4 YEARS OLD! 🤩⚽️

Absolutely made up to receive his Player of the Week trophy, and rightly so! What a little superstar! 🌟👏

One of the best things about our Development Group is seeing just how much these little awards mean to the children. Some have even been taking their trophies into school for show and tell! 🥹🏆💙

It’s these little moments that make grassroots football so special! 💛

Well done, George, and a huge well done to all our little footballers! 👏⚽️

BIG DREAMS START WITH LITTLE FEET! 💙💛⚽️

🐯⚽️ U8 TIGERS – A FANTASTIC TEAM EFFORT! 💙💛🔥

🥶 Cold Conditions, Great Football & Plenty of Determination! 💪

What a morning for the U8 Tigers! Despite the freezing temperatures, the lads put in a brilliant performance full of energy, teamwork and fighting spirit! ⚽️👏

The Tigers played some fantastic football, with some excellent goals along the way! 🙌

⚽️ Gryff – Two fantastic goals, including an absolute screamer! 🚀🔥

⚽️ George – A brilliant finish to get on the scoresheet! 👏

⚽️ Isaac – A cracking goal to keep the Tigers pushing forward! 💪

The opposition eventually edged ahead, but the Tigers never gave up, battling right until the final whistle! 💙💛

🧤 SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO JOSH! A superb performance in goal despite the freezing conditions! Brilliant effort and determination! 👏🥶

🐯 PLENTY TO BE PROUD OF, TIGERS! 💛💙

The result didn’t go our way, but the effort, teamwork and positive attitude were fantastic to see. The progress this team is making every week is what matters most! 🙌

🦁⚽️ U8 LIONS – GOALS, VAR & A MUDDY VICTORY! 💙💛🔥

🌧️ Cold Weather, Hot Football & Plenty of Touchline Drama! 😂

What a morning for the U8 Lions! Battling freezing temperatures, pouring rain and a goalmouth that looked more like a swimming pool, the lads put on a fantastic show! 💪⚽️

The Lions came flying out of the blocks, playing some brilliant attacking football! 🙌

⚽️ Harrison – Hat-trick hero! 🎩🔥

⚽️ Jesse – Another fantastic hat-trick! 🎩🔥

⚽️ Rupert – Causing problems and finding the net! 💪

⚽️ Teddy – Getting in on the goalscoring action! 👏

With the Lions flying, things were looking comfortable… until the opposition launched a brilliant comeback! 😅

Then came the GOAL-LINE CONTROVERSY! 👀⚽️

The parents were convinced it crossed the line. The officials disagreed. No VAR, no replays… just a touchline full of soaked parents needing justice! 😂🌧️

But no matter the decision, we always respect the ref! 👏⚽️

🧤 SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO CHARLIE! Superb in goal despite the freezing conditions, and a massive thank you to Seb for stepping in when the cold became too much! That’s teamwork! 👏💙

🦁 WHAT A PERFORMANCE FROM THE LIONS! 💛💙

Goals, grit, determination and a well-earned victory! Every player gave their all and showed fantastic team spirit! 🙌

A BRILLIANT WIN, FROZEN TOES & HAPPY LIONS! 🦁🔥⚽️

10/10/2026

🦁⚽️ U11 LIONS – FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON! 💙💛🔥

FOUR GOALS. ONE BIG WIN. WHAT A PERFORMANCE! 🙌

After a tough start to the season, the Lions finally got the victory their hard work deserves! And what a way to do it! 💪⚽️

It was an end-to-end battle against Cuddington, with the lads showing incredible character, determination and a never-give-up attitude! 👏

⚽️ Jack grabbed his first goal of the season to bring us level!

⚽️ Austin showed brilliant composure, slotting home with his weaker left foot!

⚽️ Ralph produced an absolute SCREAMER of a free kick, curling the ball over the keeper and into the top corner! 🚀🔥

⚽️ Oli sealed the victory with a fantastic run through midfield and a cool finish past the keeper! 🙌

💙💛 WHAT A TEAM PERFORMANCE! 💛💙

The goals were fantastic, but it was the fight, resilience and belief that made this win so special. Every time the Lions were tested, they responded! 💪

A massive well done to every single player. The hard work is paying off, and today showed exactly what this team is capable of! 👏

FIRST WIN IN THE BAG… LET’S KEEP BUILDING! 🦁🔥
