Fifteen people have now completed at least six qualifying races in this year's Road Running Club Championship. With attention now turning to longer-distance races and our very own Macclesfield Running Festival, will long-distance specialists make an impact at the top of the standings?

Remember that you can also submit up to three marathon results per year if you’d like these to count towards your total.

We have three fixtures coming up in August! Our next fixtures are:
• Macclesfield Running Festival (5k, 10k, HM) – Sunday, October 18th
• Flying Fox 10 Miles – Sunday, November 1st
• Cheddleton 10k – Saturday, 28th

Please note that the Congleton Half Marathon has been postponed until January 2027!

From the hills of Buxton to the plains of Huxley and back to the (smaller) hills of South Park, our members gave it their all over three consecutive weekends of racing. Well done to everyone who took part!

*Please note that this is a fixture change. Roadworks between the Cat and Fiddle and Buxton mean that travel to Buxton for the originally scheduled Pavilion Gardens parkrun would have been difficult.
