Several Desborough ladies went to play in the early rounds of the County Two Wood knockout yesterday held at Wokingham BC

The annual coach trip to Southampton Old Green (circa 1299 - claiming to be the world's oldest green) took place yesterday, with 18 members enjoying the day trip.
A very enjoyable day, and we thank the club for their welcome and hospitality.

Division 2 winners 👏👏👏👏

They played in the Great Western Bowls Tournament at Cotswolds Bowls Club in Stroud

There were 3 teams from the Isle of Wight, 3 from Wales, 1 from Stroud and 1 from Windsor.

All the teams played 3 games before lunch, then they were regraded into 2 divisions and played a further 2 games.

Division 1 was won by Cardiff Blues and Division 2 by Windsor Royals.

Both division winners got a shield, and every player received a medal for taking part.
