Could you lead the D2 National Champions into D1?
Kent Phoenix is seeking a new Head Coach for our Under 19 squad, the South East Legion. We are looking for a dedicated leader to drive the further development of our successful under 19 squad as we hope to make the step up into Division One in 2027.
Why come to us? We are the National Champions for D2 with aspirations to play D1. We have won back-to-back division titles at u19 level and have won 19 of our last 20 across the last two years. We have a pipeline of talent with over 80 players of all ages in the club, and 28 u19 players eligible to return in 2027 including new four u16 graduates.
We have a solid support structure with a dedicated board and volunteer support staff, excellent range of equipment, and financial stability. We have a backroom structure to support you so you don’t need to organise travel, hotels, kit and equipment or deal with any of the hassle of club football. We just want you to coach and lead our players.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced player or coach. Ideally, a person with a BAFCA Qualifications but the club is happy to support and subsidise BAFCA training and convention participation for those who need to build up their qualifications for retiring players just starting out on a coaching career. What is most important is to find a new Head Coach with good communication, organisation and team-building skills and a strong desire to work with and develop young adults.

Kent Phoenix offer opportunities for young people aged 7-18 to participate in American Football. We offer Flag American Football, the Olympics newest sport, as well as Kitted/Contact American Football through our South East Legion program.
