Now the dust has settled on the 2025/26 season, hereโ€™s a look back at another fantastic year for Maidstone RFC.

We kicked things off at Vigo 10s and Worthing 7s before enjoying a hugely successful pre-season, with strong training numbers and positive performances heading into the campaign.

Throughout the season, we celebrated plenty of tries, points and wins across the club, while also restarting our 3rd XV and laying foundations for even more rugby next year.

Off the pitch, we entered a raft into the Maidstone River Festival, raised nearly ยฃ2,800 for Movember, hosted socials, quiz nights, silent auctions and welcomed old and new faces together at a fantastic club reunion.

There were proud moments across all levels of the club too, with our Vets returning to Spitfire Cup Finals Day for the first time in 10 years and two of our Colts helping lift the U18 Continental Tyres Schools Vase at Twickenham.

A huge thank you to our players, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and supporters who continue to make this club what it is.

So much achieved on and off the pitch this season, and weโ€™re already looking forward to what 2026/27 has in store.

๐Ÿ‘‡ What was your favourite Maidstone RFC moment from the season?

Touch rugby is back on again tonight and what a start itโ€™s been ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Great numbers every session so far, loads of laughs, plenty of touches, and a brilliant atmosphere every week.

If you havenโ€™t been down yet, come and see what youโ€™re missing out on ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‰

Who are we seeing at 6:45 tonight at Mote Park?

We just canโ€™t get enoughโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‰

Another four players decided they werenโ€™t quite finished with rugby this season and pulled on the shirt to help make the Ben Campbell-Johnston Memorial Match happen.

A huge thank you to Sam Crowther, Rhys Tolley, Jack Brown and Pascal Chuchu for stepping in, playing out of position, wearing unfamiliar colours, and giving the crowd another chance to watch the game they love.

Most importantly, together we helped raise an incredible ยฃ12,600 for the amazing charities supported by the day โ€” Jigsaw South East, Kent Wooden Spoon and Star Scheme โ€” all in memory of Ben Campbell-Johnston ๐Ÿ’™

A brilliant day of rugby, community and celebration.

๐Ÿ”ฅ MAIDSTONE RUGBY IS BUILDING ๐Ÿ”ฅ

After hugely positive seasons across the club, both senior teams are pushing forward with one goal โ€” PROMOTION. ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ‰

Weโ€™re building the club back to where it belongs; competitive, ambitious, welcoming, and full of character. With strong numbers at training, engaging sessions, and a great atmosphere around the club, Maidstone Rugby is becoming the town club to be at once again.

But this club is about more than just rugby.

When you join Maidstone, you donโ€™t just join a club โ€” you join a family. ๐Ÿ”ดโšช๏ธโšซ๏ธ

From senior rugby to our growing youth section, thereโ€™s a place for everyone here. Whether youโ€™re 18 or 50+, an experienced player or completely new to the game, youโ€™ll be welcomed from day one. We also proudly offer youth rugby all the way from tots through to colts, helping build the next generation of Maidstone players.

โœ… All abilities welcome
โœ… Ambitious teams pushing for promotion
โœ… Engaging training with great numbers
โœ… Strong social calendar on and off the pitch

The season might be over, but rugby never really stops. ๐Ÿ‰

Recently, four Maidstone Rugby Club players joined New Ash Green RFC for their Presidents Day โ€” helping make it another fantastic occasion.

A brilliant example of the support, friendship, and community spirit that makes rugby so special.

A huge thank you to Jude Pearson, Harri Slaughter, Archie Stone, and Ryan Harrison for representing the club so well ๐Ÿ‘
