🌒 Tonight there will be a solar eclipse… 🌒
The last one like this was back in 1999.
Maybe you were a child then.
Maybe your children were little.
Maybe someone was here then who sadly isn’t now. ❤️
It probably doesn’t feel like 27 years ago… but somehow, the time has flown.
And that’s the thing about life — it goes so incredibly quickly.
We can’t predict what life will bring, but we do know this:
✨ Life is short.
✨ Life is fleeting.
✨ And life can be incredibly beautiful.
Tell people you love them. ❤️
Let go of what no longer serves you.
Be kind to yourself.
Do the things that make you happy.
Make the memories.
And most importantly… just LIVE.
Because in the end, the one thing we all wish we had more of is time. ❤️🌒✨

Prescribers course completed, just have to wait for results. And what better way to celebrate than a ladies lunch with my dear friends from many many years ago ❤️🥂❤️

💙 REHAB ISN’T JUST ABOUT EXERCISE
One thing my own recovery has reinforced is that rest is just as much a part of rehabilitation as exercise.
Yes, I follow a rigorous physical rehab programme — walking, strengthening, mobility and gradually challenging my body.
But I also deliberately make time for:
🧘♀️ Meditation
🌬️ Breath work
📚 Reading
😴 Proper rest
It’s easy to think that doing more means recovering faster. It doesn’t.
Exercise provides the stimulus.
Rest gives your body time to repair, adapt and get stronger.
As a physio, I spend a lot of time encouraging people to move. My own recovery has reminded me that knowing when to stop and recover is just as important.
💙 Good rehab isn’t about doing as much as possible — it’s about finding the right balance between work and recovery.

💃 DANCE YOUR WAY TO BETTER HEALTH! 🕺
Dance doesn’t have to mean high-impact jumps or complicated choreography.
It’s a fantastic way to improve fitness, balance, coordination, mobility and strength — while being kinder to your joints. And the best bit? It doesn’t feel like exercise when you’re moving to great music and having fun! 🎶❤️
Dance is for ALL ages, fitness levels and abilities — you simply work at your own pace.

🦴 What Good Progress Actually Looks Like After Hip Replacement
When we’re recovering, it’s easy to focus on the big milestones — ditching the crutches, driving again, managing the stairs, getting back to work.
But sometimes the small changes tell us far more.
Good progress can be:
✨ Realising your pain is a little less than last week
✨ Walking further before you get tired
✨ Getting out of a chair without thinking about it
✨ Waking up and your hip isn’t the first thing on your mind
✨ Suddenly realising you’ve gone an hour or two without thinking about your hip at all
For me, that last one is huge.
Recovery isn’t always about dramatic improvements. Sometimes it’s simply noticing that your hip is taking up less space in your day. 💜
Those quiet little wins are progress too…..

Guess what arrived for me today? Something to keep me occupied rather than climbing up the walls 😆😆😆
