A much needed experience - Riverside Yoga & Gong

Join Lara and I for a special Sunday morning, riverside at 🩵

🧘🏼‍♀️I will start our morning with a gentle somatic yoga flow where we focus on how the body feels over perfecting the pose.
Somatic coming from the Greek word (soma) body, refers to physical sensations, voluntary muscle movement, and bodily structures. With Yoga, being drawn from Eastern practices, we aim to increase body awareness and improve movement quality through asanas (poses).

🎼After an extended savasana Lara with focus the energy on her Gong. A beautiful way to drop into relaxation, encouraging the nervous system to reset and release unwanted emotions.
Being bathed in the Gongs frequencies will allow your brain waves to drop into Theta state where stress is released and true deep rest happens.

We really are so excited to be able these wonderful practices riverside amongst the beautiful healing powers of nature 🌿

An evening of movement, intention setting, deep meditation, connection and summery crafts🌸🍋

The summer solstice has always been a special time of the year. Many early civilisations saw the sun as life-giving (which it quite literally is)— so the longest day became sacred.
☀️ At Stonehenge, people still gather at sunrise as the sun aligns perfectly with the stones — something built thousands of years ago.
☀️ The Ancient Egyptians aligned temples with the sun, linking it to rebirth and divine power.
☀️ In Scandinavia, communities celebrated fertility, growth, and the abundance of nature.

The longest day represents:
• Full bloom
• Expansion
• Life at its peak

So join me as we celebrate it through movement, meditation, a mindful activity using beautiful flowers and close with a heartfelt sharing chat around what we would like to gain most out of this summer season.

All yoga equipment and materials for the activity are provided along with a fresh summer themed mocktail for us to enjoy 🍋🌸

The evening will unfold with an opening circle to identify what we want to achieve most

Join me for a calm, soulful morning of movement, stillness, and creativity 🐚

We’ll begin with a gentle vinyasa flow, inviting you to tune inward and reconnect with what your body truly needs. I’ll support you in exploring how to listen inwards with your body, beginning to notice the incredible signals it can give us when things need attention.

From there, I’ll ease us into an extended, deeply restful savasana, where I will guide everyone through a calming, ocean-inspired meditation to help you all fully unwind.

To close, we’ll awaken our creative sides with seashell painting — a playful, mindful moment to create your own ocean-inspired piece to take home as a reminder of the morning 🌅

A NEW home for movement✨

Classes and events will now be held at The Grange in Great Malvern, a beautiful light-filled space overlooking Priory Park 🌿

The community and warmth of this place just pulled me in when I first visited. It felt like the perfect energy to offer my weekly and monthly classes in

I will also have access to cosier more personable rooms for my Reiki & 1-1 sessions

I can’t wait to welcome you here…
- FIRST class is Thursday 7th May 4-5pm

All the usual set up will remain, mats, props, cushions, blankets and of course a lovely cup of tea 🫖

Awaken was never about a room or four walls anyway…

It’s the exhale at the end of a long day,
the soft stretch,
the feeling you get when you finally slow down.

It’s those little moments — lying in savasana feeling like you’ve just been by the sea, even if you haven’t.
It’s the chats after class, the familiar faces, the energy we create together.

Spaces change, life shifts… but this?
This feeling comes with us.

Awaken isn’t somewhere you go,
it’s something you carry.

And I’m just getting started 🌊✨
Even more community, more flexibility… because we all need to be adaptable to change - that’s the way life rolls and Awaken will be here for it!

A new chapter awaits of yoga, reiki, events, and retreats—created to offer space for you to slow down, reconnect, and come back to yourself.

With an even stronger focus on community, moving Awaken into an adaptable offering feels the right fit for me. One that feels more aligned and more intentional with the way I want to share this work.

Classes & events will still be held locally, but with the added freedom of teaching at pop up spaces…
