It’s been great to see a number of TMV junior players helping out by coaching younger age groups over the course of last season.

Last weekend we had our first junior player obtain their England Rugby Coaching Award (Level 2) qualification at Stockport Grammar School. Congratulations!

Alongside our development of Young Match Officials, bringing junior players through as qualified coaches is part of the Trafford MV pathway to keep players involved and contributing to the club and the game.

Yesterday was the last day of the 25/26 mini & junior season. For the last eight months over 400 kids have trained and played at Trafford MV every week, improving as players and growing as people. The club is thriving!.

Great thanks to all of the volunteers who have made this season a hugely enjoyable one, coaches, car-parkers, burger-makers, first-aiders, supporters. We couldn’t do it without you!

TMV U16 Boys win the Lancashire Plate finals.

At the weekend U16 Boys beat Aldwinians 48-7 to win the Lancashire Plate 🎉

Congratulations to the whole 24 strong squad who got us the the final and who represented the club in the game.

‘They did so with respect for their opponent, the referee and the competition itself.
They used teamwork and discipline, played with sportsmanship and enjoyment.
They played like men, not boys anymore.
These lads are a credit to themselves and their parents and they completely deserve their success’
