The final rounds of the National Series took us to Derby, back in our Midlands region, where Team Bunneys produced our best results of the season.
With 15 riders flying the Team Bunneys colours, everyone put in some fantastic rides and it was great to see so many making it through to the knockout stages and finals.

👏 A special shoutout to Finlay!
Our biggest achievement of the weekend has to go to Finlay. Having never ridden the Cardiff track before and without any prior training on it, he went out and absolutely smashed it. He made the semi-finals on both days and then finished 6th in the B Final on both Saturday and Sunday.
The hard work is paying off, and it’s brilliant to see him stepping outside his comfort zone, setting himself new challenges, and proving what determination can achieve. We’re all incredibly proud of you, Finlay! 💙

👏 A big well done to Kieran, Dylan J and Albert, who all made the quarter-finals on both days. A great achievement at National level and another positive step forward. Keep up the hard work!

A special mention to our Cruiser Ladies, with three of our riders making B finals over the weekend. It was also amazing to see 28 riders in the 30+ Cruiser Ladies class at Gosport – fantastic numbers for the category!
Well done to all 19 riders for representing the club with determination, resilience and team spirit. 💙💛
Unfortunately, Dylan crashed in the quarter finals on day one, suffering a deep elbow injury that later required a trip to A&E. Despite this, he showed incredible determination by continuing to race his cruiser and finishing 5th in the A final. On day two, he finished 22nd on his 20”, and despite winning one of his cruiser motos, a missed race resulted in a moto.

A great day of racing at Telford for Team Bunneys, with 19 riders representing the team. The weather was challenging, with strong winds throughout the day, but thankfully the rain managed to stay away!
