Not the weekend I wanted, but one I’ll learn from.

It’s been a tough one for me. I’ve been pretty down on myself because I know I’m capable of more, but that’s speedway, you don’t get to hide from the hard weekends. You take them on, learn, and come back stronger.

I scored 2 points at Redcar and 4 at Leicester. Both were new experiences for me on a 500, and with no recent laps at either track this year, it was all about bedding in and getting comfortable again.

Big thank you to my Grandad and Dad for always backing me, even when I’m not feeling my best. That support means everything.

We move on from this one, take the lessons, and keep pushing forward.

A couple videos from my practice at Glasgow yesterday.
Track conditions were tricky at first but I found the right setup to suit them. I also had a go on the mini track.

British youth championships Round 2 speedway.
Had a good day today at workington scoring 7 points fro my 4 rides. I slid off in my first one and got excluded sadly, although thanks to emo for avoiding me 🫣.
I then had 2 seconds and won my last ride (my first heat win at the level).

I’m very pleased about how I rode today, getting my first heat win on a 500 and putting up a fight for points, nearly making my first final on the 500 in the British Youth Championship.
Thank you to my family for coming down to watch me race and to my dad for sticking by my side.

Good weekend back on the bike last weekend with my first laps round armadale this season. Then we had a great few practice rides at Glasgow last Sunday until it all went a little wrong 🫣.
We've had our troubles to seek at the start of the season with engines playing up and now a bent bike.

What a weekend it's been.
Had a good day practicing yesterday until near the end of the day, and then an engine blew up on me 😭.
Onto today Glasgow Tigers Speedway for the British youth championships where I got a second and 3 thirds and finishing the day with 5 points. That I'm really happy with considering it's my first ever meeting in the 500cc class.
Also to then realise at the end of the day the spare engine had issues and was running under power 😭.
It just means we can only get quicker.

First round of the British youth Champs today at Glasgow Tigers Speedway.
Can't wait to get back racing and with taking a step up to 500cc it's gonna be interesting to see how I get it.
I just want to say thank you to everyone who sponsored and supported me last season.
