Another amazing volunteer is taking on her own challenge!
Steph is heavily involved with the charity, supporting our athletes at Run Club and every Wednesday night. On top of that, she also manages all of our safeguarding checks – a huge responsibility that helps keep everyone safe and supported.
She really is incredible, and we’re so grateful for everything she does behind the scenes and on the front line.
Please show your support for Steph and help her reach her goal. Every donation, share, and word of encouragement makes a difference!

Wow what a day we had yesterday with the Coquet Shorebase Trust

A lot of nerves are kicking in tonight!
Tomorrow, we have our first big group outing of the year as we head to Duridge Bay Coquet Shorebase Trust for a day of water activities.
For many of our athletes, this will be their very first time taking part in activities like these, so it’s completely understandable that those nervous-but-excited butterflies will be in full flight by tomorrow morning.
The main aim of the day is simple: to have a fantastic day out with friends, make some great memories, and hopefully try something new. If the nerves do get the better of anyone, we’ll have a selection of our favourite multi-skill games on hand to help everyone relax and enjoy themselves.
To help build that team spirit and sense of belonging, all athletes will be receiving a special 2026 event T-shirt.
Days like these simply wouldn’t be possible without our incredible volunteers and the amazing people who donate and fundraise to support us. We are so grateful for every bit of help we receive.
One of our volunteers tomorrow, Jocelyn Bolam, is taking on her own challenge next weekend and is raising money to help us provide more outings and opportunities like this for our athletes.
If you have a few spare pennies and would like to support both Jocelyn and our group, please consider making a donation.
This is Jocelyn’s challenge — please show your support:

Really excited to share this year’s event T-shirt & slogan!
The young lady who came up with this phrase has no idea I’ve done this 😁🫶
We were out in the field training when volunteer Ruth asked Imogen if she was ready. Without hesitation, she replied:
“I was born ready.”
And just like that, our 2026 event slogan was born! 💙
A huge well done to Imogen for inspiring this year’s slogan. We are all awesome, and we are definitely ready for our first event of 2026.
A huge thank you to Adam, who completed an incredible 10-mile run and raised over £7,000. His fundraising is helping to fund our first-ever trip to Duridge Bay and our team T-shirts.
Having team T-shirts helps bring us together, creating a real sense of belonging, unity and team spirit. They help everyone feel part of something special as we prepare to take on new challenges together on 14th June.
Born Ready! 💪🫶
