Our first Senior Club session took place at WAD on Tuesday! The group enjoyed playing Pickleball, Badminton, Table Tennis and Squash. The free hot drinks and biscuits went down a treat too! 🍵

Don't forget the Seniors Body Conditioning on Thursday followed by our Seniors Swim and Sauna on Friday both at East End Pool!

Northern Edge Sports hosted their first ever Fusion Academy Identification day last week.

This is the UKs first structured Roller Hockey performance pathway combining elite coaching, sports science, S&C, and elite development.

CONGRATULATIONS to Tyne and Fear Roller Derby for successfully hosting and WINNING their 2026 big weekend!

The group has been using WAD for many years to host weekly training sessions and regular events - even bringing roller derby teams from across Europe to take part! All improving the social value of everybody involved.
