We’ve been busy over the summer! 🐴🌿

From new fencing and our new office entrance next to the wonderful Howard, to a peaceful pond area where our CLTH participants can enjoy nature and explore the wildlife.

And our biggest project… the new CLTH cabin! 🤍 A space for learning, quiet time and developing new skills like cooking, all overlooking the fields and ponies.

There are still a few finishing touches to go as our participants fill it with their work and make it their own, but we’re ready to welcome everyone back! ✨

🐴 Meet Billie! 🐴

Some of you may have already spotted this handsome face around the yard, but we thought it was time to properly introduce him! 👋

Billie is one of the newest additions to the Quarry Farm family and is joining our team of riding school horses and ponies. ❤️

He’s already proving himself to be an incredibly lovely, sociable boy who loves being involved in everything going on around the yard.

We’re really excited to see what the future holds for him. We think he’s going to make a brilliant addition to the team. 🐴✨

That’s a wrap on our Summer Pony Days! ☀️🐴

From riding and pony games to grooming, challenges, lots of laughs and everything in between, we’ve had a very busy summer at Quarry Farm! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and spent their summer days with us and of course to our brilliant ponies for putting up with all the fun and games! 😂🐴

We’ve loved every minute and already can’t wait for the next one! ❤️

📣 WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN UNDER-COUNTER FRIDGE! 📣

We’re developing our Changing Lives Through Horses space at Quarry Farm and are looking for an under-counter fridge to help us create a small cooking area for our young people.

The space will be used to teach cooking, independence and practical life skills alongside their CLTH sessions. 🐴🍳

If anyone has a fridge in good, clean and working condition that they no longer need and would be happy to donate, we’d be incredibly grateful! ❤️

We are incredibly proud to share that Quarry Farm has passed our latest council inspection with a 5-star rating! 🎉🐴

There is so much that goes on behind the scenes to make sure our horses, clients and staff are safe, happy and well cared for.

We flew through our veterinary inspections, with our horses’ health and welfare thoroughly checked, alongside our tack, equipment, records, yard maintenance, facilities and the many standards we work hard to maintain every single day. ✅

A huge thank you to everyone who supports Quarry Farm - our wonderful clients, riders, families and everyone who continues to put their trust in us.

But most importantly, the biggest thank you has to go to our amazing team of coaches and yard staff. ❤️ The hard work and dedication that goes into keeping the yard running and our horses so well looked after happens 365 days a year, whatever the weather.

To help keep everyone attending Quarry Farm safe, we are now a completely nut-free facility.

This applies to anyone attending!

Please ensure that no nuts or products containing nuts are brought onto the premises.
This includes snacks, packed lunches and treats, so please check ingredients carefully before sending your child to Quarry Farm.

We pride ourselves on being a welcoming place to work, providing Changing Lives Through Horses, BHS, Pony Club & individual lesson with a fantastic group of staff and horses

The Role:
We are seeking a qualified coach preferably with some children education experience to work alongside our current fantastic team . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction on or clth program ensuring both rider progress and horse welfare.

Candidate Requirements:
Qualified: You must hold a recognized coaching qualification (e.g., BHS Stage 3 Coach or equivalent). Proof of qualifications, insurance, and first aid will be required.
Reliable: Punctuality and consistency are essential to provide the best service for our riders.
Kind & Sensible: We value a patient, encouraging coaching style and a practical, safety-conscious approach to yard and arena management.
