A massive thank you to everyone who contributed to our Macmillan Cancer Support fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity, we raised a grand total of £1203.20!

Chelsea, Eddie and Joseph had a great time visiting Newport Wetlands. They even discovered this beautiful caterpillar. Though, be careful picking up caterpillars if you are not sure, as there are several UK species that are poisonous.

The photographers have been out and about in Redwick.

Redwick is a fascinating little village on the Gwent Levels, with history stretching back to medieval times.
It was badly affected by the Great Flood of 1606/07 when the sea flooded huge areas of the Levels.
The historic St Thomas’ Church still has markings commemorating the flood

We also stopped for a drink at the Rose Inn, a village pub dating back to the 19th century

There had been a harvest festival at the church yesterday, so there were lots of vegetables and produce on display, all to be donated to good causes.
