Good luck to our fantastic ladies, Jan Barker and Debbie Cain, as they represent Newquay Golf Club in the Titleist 4Ball Better National Final at Woodhall Spa (Hotchkin), on Wednesday 12th August.

After an incredible 49-point round in the Ladies Section qualifier on 5th July, they secured their place in the national final, qualifying in the top division. They are also the only pair from Cornwall to reach the final, where just 32 pairs from across the country will compete.

They'll be one of the first groups out, teeing off at 11:10am, and we know they'll do Newquay Golf Club proud.

Great fight back from the Cornwall Boys U18 today at Stover Golf Club against Devon Boys U18.

Devon took a 4 - 1 lead after the morning foursomes and the first three singles in the afternoon to lead 7 - 1 before the almost unthinkable happened with Cornwall winning 6 of the next 7 matches before finally losing by 8 matches to 7.

Fantastic effort especially with a number of debutants in the team.

Cornwall lost three of their singles matches down the 18th so fantastic effort by all of the players.

The Cornwall Golf Girls team played their first two matches of the SW Girls Inter- County match play today at Bristol & Clifton Golf Club

In the morning Cornwall took on Gloucestershire in a very close match that finished in a draw with 2.5 match each.

In the afternoon Cornwall took on Dorset and unfortunately lost 3 matches on the 18th hole to lose 4 matches to 1.

Tomorrow Cornwall take on Somerset in the morning and Wiltshire in the afternoon.

We’ve had a little overnight rain which has taken the edge off the fairways, while the greens have been cut and rolled and are looking fantastic. Conditions are set for another superb day of links golf.
