🏌️‍♀️⛳️ Rose McKeown Cup 2026 ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Well done to our Cloverhill mixed inter-club team who took part in the Rose McKeown Cup today, kindly hosted by Mannan Castle.

It was a fantastic mixed-pairs inter-club competition held in memory of Rose McKeown, aunt of Cloverhill members Michael Short and Éilis McCreesh. The competition was kindly sponsored by Rose's nephew, Cathal Short of Crossmaglen Bureau de Change.

Our team played extremely well and were narrowly defeated, finishing a brilliant second place with 191 points, just 3 points behind the winners, Mannan Castle, on 194. Concra Wood finished on 184 points.

🏆 Mannan Castle – 194 points
🥈 Cloverhill – 191 points
🥉 Concra Wood – 184 points

A special congratulations to our power couple, Michael Short and Hazel McGill, who scored an impressive 42 points to take second place for the best overall pairing on countback. 👏👏

A fantastic day's golf, great company and a fitting way to remember Rose. ❤️

Well done to everyone who represented Cloverhill so proudly! 👏⛳️

Cloverhill look forward to welcoming everyone and hosting the Rose McKeown Cup next year. 🏌️‍♀️⛳️❤️
