Our U6s travelled to O’Hanlon’s Poyntzpass for a fantastic evening of football. The teams had great fun and put on a wonderful display of skill, tackling, passing and teamwork, with plenty of improvement on show throughout! 👏🏐

John was a former committee member of Lissummon GFC during the 1970s and played an important part in the life of the club during those years.

We extend our sincere condolences to his family, and to all his wider family and friends at this sad time.

Margaret McConville RIP

Lissummon GFC extend our deepest sympathies to the McConville family and to everyone at Crossmaglen Rangers GAA on the sad passing of Margaret McConville, Honorary President of the club.

Margaret’s lifelong commitment to her family, her club, her community and the values of the GAA earned her the admiration and respect of Gaels throughout Armagh and beyond. Her dedication, generosity and unwavering support of Crossmaglen Rangers created a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

At this sad time, we remember Margaret’s remarkable contribution to the GAA and offer our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and the entire Crossmaglen Rangers community.

May they find comfort in the many memories of a life so well lived and in the knowledge of the immense impact Margaret had on so many.

The death has occured of 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐜 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐧𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 (Crossmaglen) peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the 4th August 2026.

Beloved wife of the late Patsy RIP. Loving mother of Anne (Conroy), Mairead (Finnegan), Jarlath, Jim, Dora (O’Neíll), Sean, Oisin and the late Thomas and baby Patrick RIP. Mother in law of Brian, Paddy, Geraldine, Michelle, Gareth, Tina & Darina. Sister of John & Jeanette (O’Callaghan) and the late Maura, Annie, Kathleen, James, Fr Pat, Gene, Tommy & Brian RIP. Devoted Granny to her 21 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.

The family welcome visitors to their home at 76 Dundalk Rd Crossmaglen BT35 9HL on Wednesday and Thursday between 12 noon and 9pm (parking available at St Joseph’s High School). There were plenty of smiles as the children got the chance to see the Anglo-Celt Cup up close and have their photos taken. 📸🏆

A fantastic surprise that created some wonderful memories for everyone at camp! 😄🔰
