Welcome Reece!
Rathfriland Football Club are delighted to announce Reece Doyle as the first of Ally Wilson’s summer signings ahead of the 26/27 season!
Rathfriland FC supporters will have seen talented forward player Reece up close in previous seasons during his time at Banbridge Town and Warrenpoint Town where Reece also gained NIFL Championship experience. He joins after a short spell at Drumaness Mills FC last season bringing energy, hunger and further attacking threat with his pacy, direct style!
Reece said “I’m delighted to have signed and buzzing to get started with the lads. It’s a club that’s always been close to me as I used to come here from no age and watch my dad play here, so it’s a proud moment to be involved myself.
I’m looking forward to the challenge this season and hopefully making plenty of good memories”.
Looking forward to seeing you on the pitch Reece. Welcome to Iveagh Park! ⚫️⚪️

⚫⚪ MIXED SEVEN A SIDE TOURNAMENT IN AID OF CANCER RESEARCH A ROARING SUCCESS ⚪⚫
Saturday evening at Iveagh Park saw Rathfriland FC Ladies host a brilliant cross community mixed seven a side tournament an idea brought to life by Ladies player Rebekah Johnston, whose vision turned into a fantastic success for both the club and Cancer Research.
Twelve teams from local businesses and clubs battled it out in great spirit.
The raffle added to the occasion and we extend a huge thank you to everyone who kindly sponsored prizes.
The atmosphere was superb, with people from all parts of the community coming together for fun, football, and fundraising.
A huge well done to Rebekah and the Rathfriland FC Ladies for organising such an enjoyable and meaningful event.
