π AOH Cup Finalπ
π Cleary Celtic 2-0 Orchard United (AET)
Heartbreak in the final last night as the lads succumb to two late Cleary goals in extra time to narrowly miss out on some silverware this season. The full write up is below but hats off to both sides for a great game and many congratulations to Cleary Celtic.
There has been some significant process in recent weeks from a completely new squad assembled this season. We now look forward to a well deserved short break before our annual end of season charity fixture. Details to be announced soon.
We look to next season to hopefully build on our progress and encourage anyone wishing to join an exciting project to get in touch over the coming weeks.

π AOH Semi Final π
Lisdrum 1- 3 Orchard United
Today the lads faced Lisdrum at Jennings Park for a chance to appear in the AOH final.
The game was tightly contested and the lads went in with a slim 1-0 lead at the break. The second half opened with the lads doubling their lead only to be pegged back to 2-1. A well worked move saw Mickey Brady dispatch a volley from a corner to make it 3-1 and see the lads through to play in their second cup final in in the space of a year.
All the best to Lisdrum and all support will be welcomed at the end of the month.

π AOH Cup π
Orchard United 4-3 Archview
Orchard faced First Division runners up Archview in the AOH Cup. Archview took the lead early on through a super strike from outside the box. The boys responded quickly with a Dillon Smyth finish inside the box. Archview then retained their lead with a controversial goal which rolled on the line. Orchard bounced back again with Neville tucking away after a keeper spillage.
Second half started with Archview taking the lead yet again with some miscommunication at the back leaving an open goal. The lads lifted after a disappointing start to the second half and again equalised through a Shane Mc Ateer header with 10 minutes to go. After mounting on the pressure Orchard were rewarded a penalty which was calmly tucked away by Dillon Smyth for the win.
Next Saturday we welcome a high flying Newry Rovers to Jennings Park for the Quarter Finals of the AOH. π΅βͺοΈ
