Your daytime habits could be affecting your sleep. You might have started to notice that mornings are starting to get lighter later, and it’s that natural light that is important for your body clock.
Getting around 10 minutes of natural light in the first hour of your day can help your body recognise that it is daytime and support your natural sleep wake rhythm. Grab the sunlight before you grab the caffeine!
Our top tips:
Open your curtains straight away
Take a morning walk… even in your PJs around your garden
Eat breakfast by the window
Have your morning coffee later, and whilst sitting outside.
The quality of your sleep isn’t just down to the time spent in bed.
