It’s the week roundup!

We started off with a practice run for the North Walsham Epic 5km.
Great effort from all our buddies and congratulations to Holly who achieved a PB! 🎉🤩

Wednesday some of our runners met up for a beach run, dodging downpours and enjoying plenty of sun ☀️.

Friday Duncan and Paige went over to Sandringham to take part in tbe 10km. They did brilliantly. 👏Well done to you both. 🤩
Also on Friday Lora, Cath and Luca took part in the Lotus 5km.
They conquered the head winds to smash the distance! Well done to you all fantastic achievements. 👏🤩

Saturday Michael went to Wollaston Hall to take part in the parkrun there and Brigitte bagged another PB at North Walsham parkrun. Well done , great achievement.👏🤩

Some buddies also got together Saturday morning to start training for other events including an up coming marathon.

Another great week of running fun and wellbeing! 😍

🔝 We battled the beast of the bump! That hill in Witton Woods! 😉
🏅 lots of our runners took part in the Epic Aylsham 5km and were their usual awesome selves with many achieving personal bests!
🎉 Congratulations Duncan, Ashleigh, Ali, Karen, Lora, Mike, Ruth, Vicky, Chris, Mandy, Paige, Holly, Cath and Tim, you were all fantastic 🤩
🙌🏼 Congratulations to Fiona who achieved a parkrun personal best and Lisa who achieved a distance PB this week 👏👏
🗺️ Well done to Brigitte who went all the way to Rotherham for her parkrun 🙌🏼

It’s the RunBuddies Roundup!
Celebrating a week of running fitness, camaraderie, events, volunteering, personal bests and the joy of being part of a wonderful running community.
We started the week with a favourite route ‘ the alpaca 5km ‘. First time this year and unfortunately no alpacas in sight! 😂

Chris and Bernice took part in the Holt 10km. A first 10km event for Chris.
They both smashed it and in temperatures of 25 degrees plus 🥵!
Well done 👏 both of you. 🎉

Lisa achieved a distance PB! Amazing Lisa well done on your 6 miler! 👏 🎉

Mike soared around North Walsham park run achieving another PB! Well done 👏 🎉!

Bank holiday Monday was like an inferno 🔥 however that didn’t deter many of our buddies taking part in the Happisburgh Charity 5km along with their families. 😍
They were awesome 🤩
Many of our buddies marshalled and helped at the event along with their grandchildren!
Thank you to them for being a huge part of the success of this event. 🙏🏼

RunBuddies Round Up!
Another week of superb running from our buddies!
We started the week with some Track Training!
After an Indian file warm up we challenged our runners to 2 training drills! They were excellent. It was lovely for all our runners to be part of 1 session no matter of pace, experience or levels!

Towards the end of the week we met again 😀!
This time a lovely, chatty, chilled 5km from Ebridge Mill.
Little did they know ice cream treats would be waiting at the end 🍦 🎉!

And to add to a brilliant week we had
Rachel, Chris, Nina and Lora achieving 5km pB’s, 10km PB’s and a Mighty Hike!!! 😍
Phew what a week! 🤩🙌🏼

Join us next week, we welcome all runners and run/ walkers.

🎉 Huge congratulations to Duncan who ran his 250th parkrun at North Walsham along with his family and running buddies.

Huge congratulations to Lora who smashed the Great Yarmouth 5mile event with a 43 minute PB!🤩
Also huge congratulations to Chris who just keeps getting faster every parkrun! Now hitting the 28 minute marker 🤩
Huge congratulations to Nina who on Saturday at NW Parkrun came first in her age range AND was the oldest woman running! 🤩
There were over 160 runners at North Walsham Saturday so what an achievement! 🤩
Huge congratulations also to Cath and Fiona on their time PB’s at NW Parkrun Saturday, fantastic ladies 🤩
