It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of a wonderful friend and co-founder of Oxford Cycling Club, Johnny Morrison. He was loved and respected by everyone in our club, and the wider Oxford cycling community, and remained an integral member of OCC, having returned to his beloved Wollongong, New South Wales, in 2022.
Johnny passed away on Wednesday 12 November, having sustained a serious injury, whilst cycling with friends at the weekend.
We have lost an exceptional club mate, but our thoughts and prayers go out to Sarah and Izzie, who have lost a devoted, adoring husband and father. We are heartbroken for them both and for Johnny's parents, sisters and family in Australia. They are all very much in our thoughts at this most tragic and devastating time.

A classic Cotswold loop to enjoy this weekend! Route details are now up on our website. If you are a non-member, you are very welcome to join us, but PLEASE contact us in advance (via the website please) iso that we can be certain we can accommodate you.
The ride starts promptly at 9am from outside Bike Zone and the groups will aim to rendezvous back in Oxford for some post-ride refreshment at The Holly Bush on Osney Island.

The drop in temperature will give this weekend's club ride a distinctly wintery feel, so dig out your thermals if you haven't already! If you are a non-member, you are very welcome to join us, but PLEASE contact us in advance so that we can be certain we can accommodate you.

This 2 hour training session is designed to build your confidence, giving you the core skills to safely negotiate your local road system, including roundabouts, traffic lights and cycle infrastructure.

If you are a non-member, you are very welcome to join us, but PLEASE contact us via the website 'Contact Us' tab in advance, so that we can be certain we can accommodate you.
